Makeup Revolution Pro Bewitch Supreme Eyeshadow Palette

Makeup Revolution have had a lot of changes over the last month including the TAM Beauty website becoming Revolution Beauty, the I Heart Makeup sub-brand becoming I Heart Revolution, the whole brand has changed from Makeup Revolution to just Revolution and they’ve also launched a new sub-brand; Revolution Pro. It’s a lot to keep up with that’s for sure, and the Freedom brand has been discontinued and replaced with Revolution Pro. I knew I had to purchase some of the Revolution Pro products following the launch and there are currently Revolution Pro 211 products to choose from. One of the first products I purchased was the Revolution Pro Bewitch Supreme Eyeshadow Palette which instantly caught my eye.

I have to be honest, I am getting a little overwhelmed by how many eyeshadow palettes Revolution are launching across all of their brands and there’s quite a bit of cross over with the shades so I’m slowing down on how many palettes I purchase unless something unique comes along and that’s exactly what the Revolution Pro Bewitch Supreme Eyeshadow Palette is.

There are currently four different Revolution Pro Supreme Eyeshadow Palettes and they’re £6 each for eight powder eyeshadows. I did wonder if the Supreme Palettes were just a repackaged version of the Freedom Pro 12 Eyeshadow Palettes which didn’t wow me so I bought just one palette initially to try but I will absolutely be purchasing the others as I’ve been so blown away.

Intense colour, unbeatable silkiness. Revolution PRO Supreme Eyeshadow Palettes feature eight shades of our richest shadows.

Combining creamy mattes and luminous, light-reflecting shimmers, every shade is soft and buildable for easy blending and stunning eye looks.

Bewitch includes a matte vanilla, deep gold shimmer, copper shimmer, yellow gold glitter shimmer, cool gold glitter shimmer, burnt copper shimmer, burnt copper glitter shimmer and antique gold glitter shimmer.

If you read my post on the Makeup Revolution Flawless Foils, you’ll have seen I was disappointed that the formula wasn’t as good as their original Awesome Metals formula which they discontinued as some of the Flawless Foils shades aren’t even foiled.

If like me you were also disappointed by the new range of Flawless Foils, you need to purchase this Revolution Pro Bewitch Supreme Eyeshadow Palette as it contains the most amazing foiled eyeshadows and they look even more foiled in real life.. my swatches don’t do their metallic sheen justice.

The palette contains a cream matte shade which doesn’t really fit with the other seven shades in my opinion as the other seven are all high intensity shimmers and foils. I would much rather have seen a light brown matte which could work as a transition shade but I just don’t get any use out of the matte cream, even though it’s a pretty decent shadow nonetheless.

The shadows are some of the softest I’ve ever used and I had to include a photo of the palette post-swatches as the shadows are very messy. This is the aftermath of using my fingertip in each pan swiping up and down just once, and brushes cause a lot of fallout so I prefer using my fingertip to apply them to minimise the mess.

Even though the shadows are messy, they’re absolutely worth the mess as the pigmentation and intensity is just incredible and I’ve never seen a drugstore brand create such beautiful, multi-dimensional shadows. The shades within this palette aren’t particularly cohesive to create a whole eyeshadow look so I tend to use one or two of the shades alongside another palette that contains mattes, and infact the I Heart Revolution 24k Gold Eyeshadow Palette is the perfect accompanying palette.

In my opinion these eyeshadows are the best eyeshadows Makeup Revolution have ever made and I really hope they’ll extend this range as there are only four right now. I’ve loved this palette so much I’ve already ordered the Revolution Pro Supreme Allure Palette as Superdrug have 3 for 2 on right now, but everything is out of stock right now so I’d recommend signing up for restock notifications as £12 for three of these palettes is such great value.

I’d love to know your thoughts on this Makeup Revolution Pro Bewitch Supreme Eyeshadow Palette? Do you like to use super metallic eyeshadows?
