Beauty Wishlist May 2018

I love doing wishlists on my blog, and I equally love reading them on other blogs to see which products other bloggers are lusting after. I don’t think my wishlist has ever been as long as it is right now as there are so many exciting beauty launches right now. This is my Beauty Wishlist May 2018 edit including mostly new product launches, and a couple of products I’ve already tried and loved…

Beauty Wishlist May 2018 1

I featured the Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions Palette on my blog previously as well as the Desert Dusk Palette and it’s safe to say I’ve been blown away the quality of the Huda Beauty eyeshadows. They recently launched two new palettes and whilst I’d love them both, the Coral Obsessions Palette contains shades which are quite unique for a warm toned palette and I think it would make for the perfect summer palette especially if you’re travelling as it’s so compact.

I recently got my hands on the Elizabeth and James Nirvana White fragrance and I love it so much. I know I already adore the Nirvana Black fragrance so I’m dying to add it to my collection alongside Nirvana White as they’re such stunning fragrances. The Black version is a lot more dramatic in comparison to White, and I know it’d be my go-to evening perfume as it’s so intense.

I tried the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner a couple of years ago now and they are without a doubt the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever used. These are one litre bottles and they’re an eye wateringly expensive £139 each which is insanely expensive for shampoo and conditioner but I’ve never found a haircare duo that transforms my hair as much as these do. I’m so tempted to treat myself to these huge bottles as a treat come payday as they make me feel so much more confident with my hair as I’ve had a lot of hair loss recently due to a severe vitamin D deficiency and whilst I’ve been prescribed a huge daily dose to treat the deficiency I’m thankful for products which make me feel better about my hair.

The Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows have been everywhere in the beauty community recently, and for good reason too – they really are amazing. As part of their summer collection, they’ve launched a few new shades and I’m lusting after Fairytale in particular as it looks so pretty in the swatches I’ve seen.

Recently I bought the Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask and I’ve been wowed by the instant results, so I want to try more from the Moisture Surge range. I already own the Moisture Surge facial mist but this Clinique 72 Hour Auto Replenishing Hydrator sounds like it’d be ideal for my super dry/dehydrated skin especially during the summer if you kept it in the fridge.

Another product I’ve seen all over social media recently is the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder which has just launched. The powder contains features soft-focus light-reflecting particles, which instantly blur imperfections and minimise the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles and is definitely a powder I need in my collection.

The last product within my Beauty Wishlist May 2018 edit is a new launch from CoverFx; the CoverFX High Performance Setting Spray which I spotted in the Space NK ‘new’ section. Designed to be a weightless, alcohol-free setting spray that locks in makeup for 16 hours of wear with next-level pollution protection – it’s sitting in my online basket and I keep hovering over the checkout button as it sounds like my ideal setting spray especially as it’s alcohol free.

I’d love to know which items are on your beauty wishlist right now?
