Sol de Janeiro Copacabana Bronze + Ipanema Sunset Glow Oils

Sol de Janeiro have fast become my favourite bodycare brand ever since I first tried their Bum Bum Cream back in September and I now have a shelf dedicated to my Sol de Janeiro stash. Whenever they launch a new product, there’s always a massive buzz around their launches and the newest launches are the Sol de Janeiro Copacabana Bronze + Ipanema Sunset Glow Oils which are available from Cult Beauty.

I love the whole summery theme for the Sol de Janeiro product range as they’re a Brazilian brand that utilises nutrient rich ingredients from the Amazon and their inspiration for their products is the Brazilian attitude of confidence and playing up your best assets which their products will help you to achieve.

The Sol de Janeiro Copacabana Bronze + Ipanema Sunset Glow Oils are £35 each and they contain 75ml of product. They are a limited edition product launch in time for Summer but fingers crossed they become permanent because I know they’re going to be extremely popular especially if you’ve got a tan as they look stunning on the skin. The two different versions are different shades but they also have different scents which I like, and both scents are divine.

Brazilian beauty is natural, not overdone. It’s all about enhancing what you’ve got. That’s why our Glow Oils have just the right amount of shimmer, so you can accentuate your delicious curves and highlight your favorite features. Love it, Flaunt it, You’ve got it!

Our dry, non-sticky Glow Oils are inspired by Brazilians’ secret to a perfect glow. The light of Rio makes everyone’s skin look radiant, sensual, and irresistible – from day to night. Starting at sunrise, the beaches of Copacabana are packed with Brazilians at play.

As the sun goes down, Brazilian lovers enjoy the romantic sunsets at Ipanema. As the day turns into night, the sunlight changes and so does its luminous effect on skin. Copacabana Bronze and Ipanema Sunset capture that light to give you the perfect Brazilian glow.”

Sol de Janeiro Ipanema Sunset Glow Oil – has a translucent champagne shimmer to create a romantic, sunset radiance.

The Copacabana Bronze Glow Oil is infused with their signature Cheirosa ‘62 Bum Bum Cream fragrance, leaving your skin deliciously scented with notes of pistachio and salted caramel, whilst the Ipanema Sunset Glow Oil is infused with with their new tropical dream Cheirosa ‘77 fragrance, with romantic notes of pomelo, wild fig and Brazilian gardenia.

I adore their original Cheirosa 62 scent as it’s a delicious gourmand fragrance which smells incredible, and really does remind me of a more luxurious and longer lasting version of the Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Body Butter. The new Cheirosa 77 scent is for those that prefer a fresher, more floral fragrance but it’s equally gorgeous.

The oils have the perfect consistency for a body oil as they’re nourishing enough to make the skin glow, especially with the beautiful shimmer but it’s very lightweight with zero tackiness or oiliness so you don’t have to worry about your clothes being ruined.

I hate using oils post shower which leave my skin feeling suffocated as they’re so greasy and heavy on the skin and I’m dying to wash my hands after applying but these oils are very much a dry oil formula. My favourite would have to be Ipanema Sunset as Copacabana Bronze is too deep in colour for my skintone, but they’re seriously pretty and can be applied to the body, face or hair and if you’re jetting off on holiday this year, you need one of these oils within your suitcase.

Have you tried any of the Sol de Janeiro products before?
