The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream Review and Swatches

Back in August of 2015, The Body Shop launched a range of eight new Hand Creams in scents to match their scented ranges such as Mango, Pink Grapefruit and Strawberry. Each of the eight hand creams are infused with its own moisture-rich natural ingredient to make them effective. From the eight scents on offer, I opted for Coconut as it’s my favourite Body Shop scent by far as I love anything Coconut. The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream £5.00 contains real Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Soybean Oil and Shea Butter which are all known for their nourishing properties. The packaging looks as if it’s a foil tube, but it’s actually plastic which I much prefer as I’ve had a metal hand cream tube burst in my handbag before, so I’m happy to see The Body Shop have opted for a more durable plastic packaging.

The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream has a lovely gel-cream texture which absorbs instantly into the skin, and it doesn’t leave any tackiness to the hands which I really like, as I cannot stand sticky hand creams. After applying a generous amount of the Coconut hand cream, I can use my smartphone straight away without leaving greasy smears all over the screen which emphasises just how lightweight this hand cream really is.

Once I’ve massaged the hand cream into my hands, they’re left feeling incredibly soft, smooth and comfortable with any dryness disappearing completely. I’ve tried a few of the Body Shop’s hand creams, but I have to say this new formula is definitely my favourite, and I’m really impressed with how nourishing it is and I cannot not mention the gorgeous, authentic coconut scent – it’s truly divine. It’s the perfect hand cream for throwing in your handbag for hydration on the go.
