Summer Wishlist – July 2018

Summer Wishlist July 2018 2

Whilst I’ve been taking a blogging break until I’m feeling better, I’ve been enjoying catching up and reading all of my favourite blogs which has given me quite an extensive wishlist as there appears to be so many amazing new beauty launches. I always like to do wishlist posts as I like to look back at past wishlists and see what I’ve bought but also I love to see which items other bloggers are coveting too. For my Summer wishlist I’ve included a mixture of products and prices, and I’d love to know which items you’ve been lusting after recently?

Summer Wishlist July 2018 2

1 – Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Hydrating 3 in 1 Setting Spray – This item is at the top of my wishlist and I think I’m going to buy it with some Debenhams vouchers my lovely friend Zoe gave me for my birthday. I have super dry skin but I still love to use a setting spray as my makeup never lasts, especially when it’s hot and this spray sounds perfect! It’s supposedly a 3 in 1 – preps, sets makeup and refreshes the skin and I need to try more from Bobbi Brown so I think this would be a good start.

2 – Zoeva Opulence Makeup Brush Set – I absolutely don’t need anymore makeup brushes, but the heart wants what it wants. I love Zoeva brushes; they’re easily one of my top three makeup brush brands but this stunning deep red Opulence set really is stunning, and the set comes with a cute pouch to keep them in. I like that this set includes both face and eye brushes and the bristles are vegan.

3 – Too Faced Sex on the Peach Makeup Set – I haven’t tried anything from the Too Faced Peach range apart from the Sweet Peach Palette, but this set would be perfect as it contains four products for £33. It contains three Peach products and the iconic Better Than Sex Mascara (full size) which is a mascara I know I like, so it’d be fab to try the Peach range. The Peach products are; Primed and Peachy skin perfecting primer (deluxe mini), Peach Mist mattifying setting spray (deluxe mini) and Peach Perfect setting powder (full size). It’s such a great deal as the full size mascara is £19 alone, and the powder is £20 which is incredible considering you’re getting the three extra minis too.

4 – Viseart Petit Pro 3 Eyeshadow Palette – I’ve never tried anything from Viseart and I’ve heard nothing but amazing things. I think this mini palette would be such a great starting palette, and although it’s a mini sized palette, the shadows contain a decent amount of product. I like that the pans can be removed, and swapped around and the palette is amazingly compact with a tiny mirror making it a fabulous travel palette. This particular palette is so pretty with pinks and purples, and a mix of mattes and shimmer shades.

5 – Saint Laurent Monogram College Small Quilted Leather Handbag – I always like to include one ‘dream list’ item which is something I’d love to own, but unlikely to own. I don’t own any high end designer bags but this Saint Laurent bag is my dream bag. I love the chain strap and the quilted leather design, and that it has a grab handle too and be worn as a clutch. They do it in different coloured hardware but I prefer the antiqued silver colour and I like that it has a leather piece on the chain so it’s comfortable on the shoulder.

6 – Dose of Colors Block Party Eyeshadow – I wasn’t bothered by this launch until I saw the swatches on Temptalia and now I’m smitten. These are brand new shadows from Dose of Colors and I’m yet to try anything from the brand. These are individual eyeshadows and this shade is beautiful £16 and looks like the most gorgeous khaki green shade with ‘platinum reflects’ but the whole range of shades look beautiful and although £16 is a lot for a single shade but Urban Decay eyeshadows are £16 each and the formula of these Dose shadows are a lot more unique and pretty in my opinion.

7 – Apple MacBook Air 13.3″ – I currently use an HP laptop for blogging and it really is on its last legs so I’m currently trying to decide what to get as my replacement as I need a laptop which is super quick and I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about MacBooks. They really are crazy money for what you get, but I love my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 7+ so I know I’d like the software. I like that this model is very compact and lightweight as my current laptop is very heavy but I just can’t decide if I should go for it or not?

8 – BeautyBlender InstaClean – The last item is somewhat of a gimmick but I still need to try it as it’s a spray cleanser for BeautyBlender sponges. I hate washing my BeautyBlenders as I don’t find them as easy to cleanse as brushes, but this spray is a spot cleaning option where you spray it onto your sponge (or brush – works on both!) and then use a tissue or cloth to wipe it clean and the Instagram videos I’ve seen of it in action have been really impressive. I’m sure a normal spray makeup brush cleaner would work the same, but this looks so convenient for using in between products and I’m yet to be let down by a BeautyBlender product.

I’d love to know what products are currently on your wishlist? Do you own any of these products and could you recommend them? Let me know in the comments below…
