Did you know that Missguided now have four different fragrances?! I definitely didn’t as I’ve only seen the Missguided Babe Power fragrance feature on blogs but there are now four different fragrances to choose from, and there’s now an incentive to purchase one of their three newest scents; Babe Oud, Babe Dreams and Boss Babe. With every purchase of one of the three new scents at Superdrug or The Fragrance Shop, you’ll get a free pair of Missguided Tassel Earrings worth £10.
They’re such cute earrings so they’re definitely worth getting if you’ve been planing on purchasing one of the three new Missguided fragrances. The first fragrance to launch in the range was Missguided Babe Power, but I like that Missguided have followed the same theme with the ‘babe’ name and metallic can designs for the new scents. I have all four scents to show you today…
Missguided Babe Power Eau de Parfum 80ml £28
“BABE POWER is the embodiment of the iconic Missguided brand with its scent designed to evoke a feeling of strength, confidence and femininity. BABE POWER is made for the girl who wants her scent to match her unapologetic attitude.
Key fragrance notes include a vibrant splash of grapefruit zest and sour cherry, sharpened with crisp apple and pink pepper. At its heart, orange blossom is accentuated with soft peony and jasmine for a succulent signature; while vanilla, creamy musk, playful candy floss and amber crystals combine to leave a provocative lasting impression.“
Missguided Babe Oud Eau de Parfum 80ml £28
“If you’re feeling exotic, this Missguided fragrance has a rich middle eastern aroma. It leads with baies rose, bergamot, lemon and orange with dashes of red fruit and neroli. The heart marries geranium with jasmine, oud, black pepper, roses and saffron with a leathery quality. Base notes cushion with amber, cedar, Kashmir fusion, musk, patchouli, tonka and vetiver.“
Missguided Babe Dreams Eau de Parfum 80ml £28
“Do dreamy femininity the Missguided way, with their Babe Dreams fragrance. This sweet chypre scent is cushioned by a base of patchouli, rich amber and vanilla. The heart is an infusion of velvety rose with orris and violet whilst the top notes compliment with bergamot, pink pepper and red fruity accords.“
Missguided Boss Babe Eau de Parfum 80ml £28
“The scent that matches your personality, Missguided’s Boss Babe will leave you ready to face anything the day throws at you. This fruity floral scent leads with notes of bergamot and pear with accents of pistachio. The heart marries rose accords with almond milk, orange blossom and magnolia. Base notes cushion with patchouli, amber, sweet tonka, vanilla, musk and creamy sandalwood. Be your own boss.“
The packaging of the Missguided fragrances is very kitsch with an aerosol can design, which has a ring pull on the top that you press to spray the fragrance. I know it won’t be for everyone, but I personally think it’s unique and I like that the different scents have different colours so you can tell them apart. Each of the fragrances contain 80ml of product for £28 which is a really great price for that much fragrance, especially when they’re an eau de parfum formula.
I did think the four different scents would be quite similar but they’re actually really quite different. Missguided Babe Power is a sweet and fruity scent which you’ll love if you like the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy fragrances, and is the perfect everyday scent and in a strange way it reminds me of the scented cupcake dolls from my childhood – but in a good way. Babe Oud is the most dramatic scent from the four and is a strong, statement scent which is definitely more of an evening scent as it’s warm, woody and it lasts for around six hours on my skin.
Babe Dreams is the girliest, candy floss kind of scent which is a touch too sweet for my liking but I imagine teenagers would love this fragrance as it’s so fruity and sweet. The final scent I have is Boss Babe, which in my opinion is the safest option if you were to buy one of these as a gift as it’s so likeable. It’s sweet but not sickly so, but it’s fruity too so I’ve been loving it as a day fragrance during the heat wave as it’s the freshest from the four but overall I love three out of four, and think Babe Dreams is better suited to those in their teens.
I’d love to know which Missguided fragrance you’d think you’d like the most?
