Adexe THEY Grande Dark Chocolate Watch PLUS Giveaway!

My blog is primarily a beauty blog as beauty is my obsession, but I also love accessories as I love how accessories can change a whole outfit. I own quite a few watches and like to change my watch to reflect my outfit or mood, so I was excited when Adexe contacted me to see if I’d like to choose one of their watches and give away a watch to one of my lucky readers.

I’ve seen so much about Adexe on social media but I had no idea they had so many different styles, and they’re categorised into “for him” and “for her”. Adexe‘s newest campaign; “Your Time Is Now” is to coincide with going back to school, and they created a YouTube video here. The message behind the Adexe Your Time is Now campaign is all about taking ownership. I chose the Adexe THEY Grande Dark Chocolate Watch £129, but it really was an hard decision to make as they have so many beautiful watches.

I like the idea behind the campaign as life really is too short, so it’s important to take ownership and not put off something you can do today. An example where I have taken ownership would be starting my blog as I put it off for months thinking I wouldn’t be able to do it, but it turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made.

The Adexe THEY range really appealed to me as Adexe describe it as being a multi-functional collection designed for those independent to convention and free from conformity, with ‘they’ being a non-gender specific pronoun since the middle ages. Seeing as I don’t do fashion posts, you may not know I’m 5 foot 11 with size 10 feet – I have big bones, and dainty watches just don’t suit me so I really liked how unisex the Adexe THEY range was, with a style for everyone even those that do prefer a more dainty watch style.

Adexe have a great range of metals too within the They range, and the Adexe THEY Grande Dark Chocolate watch appealed to me the most as it has black polished metal. I wear a lot of silver and rose gold jewellery so I knew the black metal would complement both without any clashing, and I liked the contrast of the polished black metal against the buttery soft dark chocolate, handmade Italian leather strap. The leather is extremely soft and smooth, and it’s thin too which again complements how slim and flat the dial is. I’m not a fan of watches with a big chunky dial as they do look quite masculine, but this watch just ticks all of the boxes for me.

The glass is very slightly domed, but it remains relatively flat which is something I prefer with watches as they sit more flush against the skin and I’m really clumsy so I know I’m less likely to catch the dial. The Adexe THEY Grande Dark Chocolate Watch has the main time telling dial, but there are three smaller dials; one for the day of the week, one for the date of the month and the red handed dial is for seconds. It’s like a sleeker, more unisex version of a typical chronograph watch which tend to be more chunky in design but this watch is so sleek. The battery which comes with the watch is said to have a 2-3 year lifespan and is waterproof to 3 ATM.
