Makeup Revolution Ever Glow Lights Strobe Highlighter

I featured the Makeup Revolution Flash Strobe Highlighter here on my blog last year and it didn’t blow me away, but I received the Makeup Revolution Ever Glow Lights Strobe Highlighter as a free gift when ordering from Revolution Beauty and didn’t have high hopes. Makeup Revolution have such an huge highlighter collection, it’s crazy how many different highlighters they have, with ten different shades of their Strobe Highlighters alone. The Strobe Highlighters are only £3 each and contain 7.5 grams of product, and they have a ripped raised design within the pan which I like.

The Makeup Revolution Ever Glow Lights Strobe Highlighter is the dustiest highlighter I’ve tried of theirs, and the powder really does cling to any tiny peach fuzz you may have on your face and you can see it clinging to the lines of the back of my hand in the photo above.

The Ever Glow Lights shade doesn’t really have a shade either, it’s a pale beige without shimmer which to me feels a little pointless as an highlighter as I want my highlighter to ‘highlight’ the high points of my face. Although there are ten different Strobe Highlighters, I don’t feel like the shades vary enough to warrant having so many shades.

Flash is very unique as it has a green duochrome shift, but Ever Glow Lights is just a bit beige for my liking. It’s dusty, doesn’t highlight the skin and it wears off in around two hours. I notice there’s a fair few positive reviews on the Revolution Beauty website on this shade, so I don’t know if it’s just me that doesn’t like this highlighter but for me it’s a fail unfortunately which is a shame as Revolution usually create amazing highlighters and they’re one of my favourite products of theirs alongside eyeshadow palettes.

I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of the Revolution Strobe Highlighters before?
