I have become a bit of an AliExpress addict over the last year and now find myself ordering more from AliExpress than I do on eBay. I know some people are scared to use AliExpress but I’ve actually found it to be hassle free and they have a money back guarantee where you’ll get your money refunded if you don’t receive your item. This post is not at all sponsored but I know I always get some emails and dm’s whenever I feature an AliExpress product, so I wanted to mention that I’ve never had an issue. I would never purchase fake or counterfeit makeup, but instead I look for registered brands such as Focallure, Heng Fang or iMagic. I spotted the iMagic Pigment Loose Eyeshadows when perusing one night and decided to buy just one shade, but when it arrived I was blown away by how beautiful it was and ordered several more shades as they’re only £2 each from the official iMagic store on AliExpress with free UK shipping.
I used to hate loose eyeshadows or pigments as they were so messy and a lot more hassle than they’re worth. However I totally changed my mind when I fell in love with the MAC Vanilla Pigment, and I’ve really enjoyed experimenting with loose pigments within my makeup. MAC Pigments are really expensive, especially when you consider how little product you need as you’ll never finish the jar so a budget alternative was ideal and these iMagic Pigment Loose Eyeshadows are incredible, and I just can’t believe they’re £2 each. They are available in a total of nine different shades, and I bought five but I want the whole set as they’re the prettiest pigments I’ve tried and they even come with their own mini sifter and the sifter has a lid which MAC Pigments don’t. The little inner lid helps to prevent any spillages, and makes it easy to tip some of the pigment out without wasting product.
All of these swatches are dry and unprimed, and they’re even more beautiful in real life especially Dazzling, Melon and Amaze as they’re duochrome shades. I used a tiny, tiny amount of the iMagic Pigment Loose Eyeshadows for these swatches, but the more you use, the more intense they become and when applied over a glitter glue they become even more intense. I honestly think the quality of these pigments are on par with my MAC Melon and Vanilla pigments, and they’re £14 cheaper. Yes the jars are a lot smaller than the MAC pigments but I will never get through a pigment jar in my lifetime so these cute, easy to store smaller jars are a lot easier to store. My favourite shade would have to be Amaze as it’s the most incredible golden peach, with a green and almost purple shifts but Blinding is a great dupe for MAC Vanilla. I honestly cannot rave about these pigments enough, and with the festive season coming up, I know I’ll get a lot of use from Blinding and Glisten for a super sparkly makeup look.
I’d love to know if you’ve ever tried any of the iMagic Pigment Loose Eyeshadows? Which is your favourite shade?
