Royal Essence Cinnamon Doughnut Jewellery Candle PLUS GIVEAWAY!

If you’re a long time blog reader, you’ll know I was Miss Makeup Magpie until April 2017. I decided to rebrand as I wanted to be able to talk about more than just makeup, but the reason I was given the makeup magpie nickname was due to my love of makeup and jewellery. I love anything that sparkles and this time of year is my favourite as I love being able to burn candles every evening, so a product which combines both jewellery and candles is totally perfect, so let me introduce you to Royal Essence.

Royal Essence are an Australian owned family business creating natural, fresh, handmade products with an amazing surprise inside. Read on to find out more, but today I have the beautiful Royal Essence Cinnamon Doughnut Jewellery Candle to show you plus a GIVEAWAY where you could win your very own….

Royal Essence Cinnamon Doughnut Jewellery Candle PLUS GIVEAWAY!

Royal Essence may be based in Australia but they ship to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia and they’re an amazing company. I’ve tried jewellery candles in the past but Royal Essence are very unique as they offer more than just candles.

You can choose candles, diffusers, bath bombs, bath crumbles, body scrubs and whipped soap and you can even choose which type of jewellery you receive within your product; a ring, necklace or pair of earrings. My favourite thing about Royal Essence as a company, is that their jewellery is worth anything upto £3000 and each jewellery piece comes with a special code which you enter online to discover the value of your item.

I’m an huge candle fan anyway but the idea of a candle melting away to discover a piece of beautiful jewellery made me seriously excited and I couldn’t wait to give my Royal Essence Cinnamon Doughnut Jewellery Candle a try. The candle is £27.97 and you can choose a ring in size 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10, a necklace or a pair of earrings. There are quite a few jewellery candle brands but being able to choose your specific ring size really impressed me as you know you’re going to be able to wear it without having to pay to have it resized at a jewellers.

Foody scents are my favourite when it comes to candles so I knew the Royal Essence Cinnamon Doughnut Jewellery Candle would be a good choice, and I’m so impressed with how authentic the fragrance is, and how cleanly they burn as they’re made with soy wax. The packaging is beautiful with a blush pink box with metallic gold detailing and the candle itself is packaged within a very weighty glass jar, with a lid with a cute cinnamon and doughnut illustration surrounding the jar.

For my Royal Essence Cinnamon Doughnut Jewellery Candle, I chose a ring as my jewellery and it took roughly five hours before I could reach my ring which was carefully wrapped in a bright blue foil packet. Inside the foil, the jewellery piece is packaged within a small plastic bag and the band has a sticker with a code attached as well as a piece of paper with an address to go to in order to find out the value of your specific piece.

I found the whole process extremely exciting and once you’ve entered your code online, numbers spin for a few seconds before revealing the value of your item. I couldn’t believe how stunning my ring was within my Royal Essence Cinnamon Doughnut Jewellery Candle and it’s unlike anything else I’ve seen before.

The ring within my Royal Essence Cinnamon Doughnut Jewellery Candle is an hallmarked sterling silver ring with quite a thick band which splits into two either side of the ring’s stone to create a ‘split shank’ setting. The v-shape shoulders of the ring feature five tiny yet super sparkly stones on both sides of the ‘v’ and the main stone of the ring is the most amazing, iridescent gemstone which reminds me of a rainbow moonstone.

At the point where the shoulders meet the main setting, there’s a total of four slightly larger sparkly stone, and the main gemstone is bordered by 20 tiny sparkly stones which all catch the light amazingly well and are the same size as the stones within the shoulders. Now onto the appraisal…

I love my ring so much that the value is insignificant to me as I’ve never seen such a pretty and unique gem and setting before, but the whole appraisal process is really fun and is what makes Royal Essence so unique. On their website my special code revealed that my stunning ring is worth £152 which is insane considering the candle is worth £27.97, so for £27.97 I got a candle with 150g of soy wax with a beautiful scent and an amazing throw AND a £152 ring – mindblown.

I cannot rave about Royal Essence enough, and the delivery time from Australia to the UK was 10 days which I think is fantastic, especially as some UK retailers take that long so for the parcel to come across the world in 10 days is beyond amazing. If you do buy one of the Royal Essence pieces, they have a giveaway if your share an image of your jewellery piece on their Facebook wall where you could win a product of your choice so I’ll definitely be doing that asap. Now onto the extremely exciting part….
