Superdrug Naturally Radiant 2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum

I have been so impressed by the Superdrug own brand skincare ranges, especially their Naturally Radiant range and their slightly more luxurious Optimum range. The products are really great quality and already very affordable, but they’re always on offer making them even better value. I was repurchasing the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Pads and they had a buy one get one half price offer, so I decided to try something new from the Naturally Radiant range which I hadn’t tried before and I decided on the Superdrug Naturally Radiant 2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum £5.99. I hadn’t read any reviews prior to purchase so I had no idea if it was any good, but I’m yet to be disappointed by the Naturally Radiant skincare range.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant 2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum

Naturally Radiant 2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum is formulated with a unique energising complex and infused with Kiwi Fruit and Mulberry extracts to help out skin tone. Enriched with nourishing Fruit Acids, this rich velvety formula delivers long-lasting moisturisation, whilst also helping to refine skin’s texture and clarity for a smoother, more radiant complexion.

Infused with plant extracts:
– Kiwi Fruit extract is a rich source of Vitamin C, which is renowned for its remarkable ability to help brighten and even out skin tone, while also providing antioxidant protection against free radicals.
– Mulberry Fruit extract has naturally strong brightening properties which can help to reduce discolouration and even out skin tone.
– Fruit Acids naturally exfoliate and refine the skin’s texture.
– Sugar Beet extract is a natural moisturiser, which helps improve skin’s barrier function and leave skin feeling soft and supple.”

The claims for the Superdrug Naturally Radiant 2 in 1 Moisturiser and Serum were pretty impressive for a £6 skincare product, with Superdrug claiming skin will feel softer and smoother, and look more refreshed and energised after just one week. After four weeks the skin’s texture supposedly appears enhanced and evened out.

I’m not a skincare expert so I have no idea if a moisturiser and serum 2 in 1 exists, or if this is just a silky liquid version of a moisturiser but the ingredients are listed on the Superdrug website should you want to check. For application you simply massage 2-3 pumps into the skin with your fingertips each morning, in a circular motion until fully absorbed.

The product has a milky gel consistency which is more akin to a serum than a moisturiser, and it has a nondescript skincare scent which is only noticeable whilst massaging the product into the skin. I have super dry skin so I can’t get away with just using this product alone so I’ve been using it a serum rather than a moisturiser but it’d work well as a 2 in 1 for normal skin but I need all of the hydration I can get.

It leaves my skin feeling very smooth and silky but it does contain silicone which might be why the skin is left so silky, but it’s so good for a makeup base as it does leave the skin feel smoother. I haven’t noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin or any brightening action, but it’s a nice moisturiser and serum all the same. I haven’t been wowed by it like I have been with their Acid Pads and Overnight Glycolic Peel and I wouldn’t repurchase it, but I’m glad I tried it.
