Christmas Gifts for Couples and Families

When it comes to purchasing gifts, it can become very expensive very quickly, and even more pricey if friends and family members are in a couple as I have to buy a gift for both of them. If this is the case, why not buy a gift they can share and enjoy together. This can be a more thoughtful option as well as being affordable. The same applies to families, if you buy gifts they can all use it’s going to be much more affordable than purchasing multiple ones, so I wanted to share a few ideas I’ve found which I feel would make great Christmas gifts for couples and families.

Christmas Gifts for Couples and Families

Christmas gifts for couples, I’ve found experience days to be a thoughtful gift option as it’s something they can both look forward to and enjoy together. You could get them a night away, a cooking course, chocolate making experience or even something different like a glamping weekend. I have always thought that these types of experiences are a more personal gift idea, especially if you can choose something that you know they’ve been wanting to do. Some experiences once you’ve booked them come with a voucher which you could wrap up and give to them to open on Christmas, or perhaps provide them with some clues instead so they have to guess what they’re going to be doing, making it a little more fun!

I spotted the Hotel Chocolat Dipping Adventure for Two when purchasing some Christmas gifts and I thought it was the perfect gift idea for a couple. I love Hotel Chocolat chocolate and this set contains a jar of melted white chocolate and a jar of melted milk chocolate, as well as some treats to dip into the luxurious chocolate. It’d be such a great treat for a date night and again it’s something they can indulge in together. Their products are always beautifully presented too, so I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them for Christmas gifts.

Christmas Gifts for Couples and Families

Moving onto Christmas gifts for families. There are lots of gift possibilities and you can even find experiences which the whole family can enjoy such as a trip to a wildlife park.

Another idea for families is creating a DIY hamper for them packed with treats such as dvds, popcorn, hot chocolate, sweets and maybe even a game which they can all enjoy together over the Christmas holidays. There’s also the option of creating a sweet treats bundle containing delicious festive treats, such as biscuits and chocolate. My last suggestion is creating a DIY voucher in an envelope offering to baby sit, which will definitely be an appreciated gift especially if they have a new-born. You don’t have to spend loads of money to show you care, and in my opinion a thoughtful gift goes a long way.
