I used to have acrylic nails throughout my late teens to my mid twenties and it seriously damaged my nails, and even now my nails aren’t as good as they used to be so now I rely on my DIY gel manicure kits or press on nails as they’re a lot kinder on the nails. When it comes to press on nails, the number one brand in my opinion is Elegant Touch and I’ve used their nails since I was at school and I loved their pre-glued french manicure effect nails but they’ve come such a long way with their amazing styles and collections. The newest collection is the Elegant Touch Mystic Wonder Collection which was perfectly timed to coincide with Halloween and the festive season. The Elegant Touch Mystic Wonder Collection consists of four different styles all of which are £9.95 for 24 nails.
The four styles within the collection are; Ex Files, Moon Swoon, Supa Fly and Gimme Space, and I have two of the sets to show you today. Each set of the nails contains 24 nails in a range of shapes and sizes which are numbered to help you decide which nail which fit which finger, and Elegant Touch recommend deciding on your ten nail sizes before beginning to glue them onto your nails. The packs also contain a 2ml tube of the Elegant Touch Nail Glue which offers upto 10 days of wear which is fab for a £10 set of nails, and it’s a nice small size so you could always pop it in your handbag to reattach a nail should one come loose.
Elegant Touch Mystic Wonder Collection – Ex Files £9.95
Purple is my favourite colour so the Ex Files design couldn’t be more perfect for me, they’re seriously pretty and I don’t feel like my photos do the colour justice. The Ex Files nails have an ‘Almond’ shape design and they are a beautiful metallic, bright purple which almost have a chrome effect when the light hits them.
They don’t have any gems or glitter on them like the other styles within the Elegant Touch Mystic Wonder Collection, but they’re amazing nonetheless and they would look perfect for almost any outfit especially with the slightly pointed, almond shape which is my personal favourite shape for press on nails.
Elegant Touch Mystic Wonder Collection – Moon Swoon £9.95
The Moon Swoon design does look a little more luxurious compared to Ex Files yet they’re the same price which is really good. The Moon Swoon design have lilac grey creme effect, with four accent nails within the pack. Both sets of nails contain 24 nails, and the Moon Swoon pack contains four accent nails with five crystals glued onto them for added sparkle and they look seriously pretty. I’m not sure why but the Moon Swoon set only has 23 nails with a missing space for the size “6.5” but the four crystal adorned nails are there so you can use them for your ring finger on both hands, for two full manicures.
