Gatineau are one of the most luxurious skincare brands I’ve tried and I’ve loved exploring their products over the last year or so. For Christmas Gatineau have a stunning collection of gift sets for different budgets and everything is presented so beautifully. If you’ve never tried the Gatineau brand before, their sets would be fantastic opportunity to try multiple products in the one set at a great price compared to the price of purchasing all of the products individually.
The Gatineau Christmas range starts from £25 to £88 and the sets all have such a generous value compared to their prices, so you’re getting such an amazing buy for each of their gift sets. I have a selection of their sets to show you so I thought I’d do a Gatineau Christmas Gift Guide as part of my gift guide series, incase you need gifting inspiration to buy for others, or to put on your own Christmas list.
Gatineau Christmas Gift Guide
Gatineau Gentle Silk Cleansing Christmas Collection £25
This is my first set of the five within my Gatineau Christmas Gift Guide and it’s the lowest priced too at £25 and I’m surprised by how affordable it is as the set is huge. Presented within a cream and taupe magnetic box, with golden polka dots on the front. The box opens to reveal three of their bestselling skincare products alongside a muslin cloth.
I think this set would be the perfect choice for anyone as the products aren’t necessarily skin type specific so it could be good if you don’t know the skin type of your recipient or you know they don’t have an extensive skincare regime. The set includes three full size products; the Floracil Plus Gentle Eye Make-up Remover 118ml worth £18, the Gentle Silk Cleanser 200ml worth £21 and the Gentle Silk Toner 200ml worth £21. The muslin cloth included within the set is the silkiest muslin I’ve ever felt, it honestly feels like silk.
The Gatineau Floracil Plus Gentle Eye Makeup Remover has a bi-phase formula that instantly cleanses the delicate eye area of all traces of make-up including longwear and waterproof mascara. It is blended with Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel and Vitamin E to protect and hydrate the eye area, condition the lashes, and leave skin comfortable and revitalised. I really rate bi-phase eye makeup removers as they combine the efficacy of oil for removing the makeup, whilst remaining gentle on the skin and lashes.
The Gatineau Gentle Silk Cleanser is enriched with delicate silk and cotton extracts, with a luxurious milky formula that gently dissolves all traces of make-up and impurities whilst conditioning the skin. Described as having a salon grade formula which allows for maximum absorption of other products and is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive. I’ve not had the best experiences with cleansing milks but this is a delight to use and it’s very effective at breaking down my makeup. It doesn’t strip my skin and works very well alongside the matching toner.
Lastly the Gatineau Gentle Silk Toner is my favourite item from the trio as it’s a nice hydrating step within my routine, and the alcohol free formula works wonders on my skin. The toner works to remove all remnants of the cleanser whilst respecting the skin’s pH and moisture levels. Formulated with soothing extracts of Silk and Cotton, pores are refined and the skin is left feeling refreshed and radiant. I only need a couple of drops on a cotton pad and it makes my skin feel as if I’ve just applied an hydrating face mask due to the sweet almond oil that softens and nourishes the skin.
Gatineau Perfection Ultime Smoothing Christmas Collection £77
The second set within my Gatineau Christmas Gift Guide is this beautiful Perfection Ultime Set which is £77 yet the products are worth £199 which is exceptional value, especially when you consider one of the products within this set costs £10 more than the whole set costs – just wow. This beautiful collection consists of the Perfection Ultime Retexturizing Beauty Cream 50ml worth £87 (the item worth £10 more than the set), the Collagene Expert Ultimate Smoothing Serum 30ml worth £66 and the Mélatogénine Futur PLUS Anti-Wrinkle Radiance Mask 75ml worth £46.
Many of the items from the Gatineau Christmas Collection are housed within the most gorgeous zippable bags, and I can’t believe how high quality the bags are alone. I’d happily pay £20 for the bag in the likes of Anthropology or Urban Outfitters. The bags are either white, taupe or burgundy depending on the set you’re buying and they all have a lovely suedette finish, with gold foil polka dots. The zips have a pretty cream ribbon and a golden star charm and I can’t believe you get the bag free within the sets, when the products within each set are worth more than the set anyway. I so want the Melatogenine Rejuvenating Christmas Collection as it’s in a burgundy bag so I have the full set, and the products sound divine too.
The Perfection Ultime Retexturizing Beauty Cream is a lightweight daily moisturiser to instantly hydrate and brighten the skin with Hyaluronic Acid and Cotton Extract, while protein-rich Caviar Extract and Tripeptide 1 work to restore skin health and luminosity. Geranium Oil protects from free-radicals and the complexion is smoothed and perfected with Wheat and Soy Proteins. This cream is said to be for all ages with a lack of dehydration, radiance and uneven skintone. It can be used both morning and night and the clinical trials results are amazing.
Next up is the Collagene Expert Ultimate Smoothing Serum which is an intensive concentrate that uses a marine based Tri-Collagen Complex to work at different levels of the skin for an intensely hydrating, plumping and regenerative action on wrinkles. With added Mélatogénine, Gatineau’s exclusive youth molecule, this targeted serum promises to treat the early signs of ageing leaving the skin feeling smooth, plumped and radiant. Gatineau recommend this serum for those aged 30 and over, and can be applied morning and night for skin which is smoothed, plumped and firmed.
The last item in the set is the Mélatogénine Futur PLUS Anti-Wrinkle Radiance Mask. This particular mask is used within their premium facials worldwide, and is described as an anti-ageing mask that is a powerful and effective treatment to help rewind the effects of time. It contains Gatineau’s patented youth activating molecule, Mélatogénine to rapidly smooth away lines and wrinkles whilst Collagen Extracts plump skin from within in just ten minutes.
Gatineau Defilift Firming Christmas Collection £77
The Gatineau Defilift Firming Christmas Collection is the next pick within my Gatineau Christmas Gift Guide and is £77 with contents worth £174. Containing the Gatineau Defilift 3D Perfect Design Redefining Performance Cream 50ml worth £87, the Gatineau Defilift 3D Eye Contour Lift 15ml worth £55 and the Gatineau Defilift 3D Perfect Design Revolumising Lip Care 10ml worth £32. This particular set comes with a taupe bag and I love the purple colour for this range. Again this set includes a product which is worth more than the whole set which is fantastic, and this set contains a plastic spatula for hygienic application.
The Gatineau Defilift 3D Perfect Design Redefining Performance Cream is a firming and volumising day and night cream formulated with powerful Plant Protein Technology. Containing encapsulated Hyaluronic Acid restores volume and plumpness to the skin improving the look of the skin’s vitality, whilst Mango and Shea Butter bring comfort and nourishment. This cream is designed for those over 40 or those with skin slackening and loss of firmness.
Then the Gatineau Defilift 3D Eye Contour Lift is a dynamic eye serum packed with natural Plant Proteins to instantly lift the eye contour and restore a long-lasting firm and youthful appearance. Yeast Extract improves micro-circulation to reduce dark circles and puffiness, whilst Mineral Powders illuminate the eye contour for a brightened appearance. Again this product is designed for those over 40 or those with skin slackening, hooded eyes, puffiness and dark circles.
The last product within the set is the Gatineau Defilift 3D Perfect Design Revolumising Lip Care which is the only lip product within my Gatineau Christmas Gift Guide, but it’s one of their bestselling products. Containing an innovative formula benefiting from encapsulated Hyaluronic Acid to dramatically plump out and volumise the lips and fine vertical lines around the lip contour. Lavender and Shea Butter intensively nourish, repair and soothe chapped and irritated lips whilst restoring the protective barrier. With an added gloss texture, lips appear fuller, smooth and defined.
Gatineau Age Benefit Regenerating Christmas Collection £88
This is such a luxe collection with a price of £88 but the contents are worth a whopping £276 which is a saving of a staggering £188. This set comes with a white bag which I feel complements the black and silver colours of the Age Benefit collection nicely, and the set comes with a plastic spatula as well as an eye wand to massage the eye contour with the eye cream. Inside this kit you’ll find the Gatineau Age Benefit Integral Regenerating Cream 50ml worth £98, the Gatineau Age Benefit Integral Regenerating Eye Cream 15ml worth £66 and the Gatineau Age Benefit Perfect Skin Serum 30ml worth £103. I can’t believe that this set contains TWO products which are individually more than this set is to buy, it’s crazy good value and one to snap up if you’ve been wanting to try the Age Benefit range.
The Gatineau Age Benefit Integral Regenerating Cream is a powerfully targeted cream targets all the advanced signs of ageing whilst providing skin with essential moisture. Containing Artichoke Leaf and Hibiscus Extracts smooth lines and wrinkles whilst Calcium strengthens thinning skin. Restorative and nourishing, this moisturiser offers complete anti-ageing in one simple step. This is suitable for those over 50 with added Avocado Oil and Shea Butter for intensive nourishment for dry skin, and it sounds incredible from looking at the results from their clinical trials.
The Gatineau Age Benefit Integral Regenerating Eye Cream has a silky formula that quickly absorbs into the delicate skin around the eyes. Marine Extracts nourish and rebalance, and Caviar Extract boosts collagen production to smooth and reduce lines and wrinkles. The cream is rich in minerals to feed the skin leaving a soothed and plumped eye area. The eye wand is such a cool extra to use alongside the cream to massage the skin to stimulate micro-circulation and reduce dark circles using small circles under the eyes.
Lastly the Gatineau Age Benefit Perfect Skin Serum sounds like a miracle in a bottle and is an insane £103 so you have to buy this kit if you want to try this serum as you’ll get the set cheaper than the product and two extra products too. Gatineau describe the serum as being a sophisticated 30-day ‘super serum’ to address the five markers of time, and the daytime equivalent to their Age Benefit Night Elixir and the Perfect Skin Serum renews the complexion in just 30 days. Said to be perfect for tired and devitalised skin, this intensive treatment claims to boost your skin’s natural functions and is enriched with anti-oxidants to regenerate cells and restore radiance.
Gatineau Aquamemory Replenish Christmas Collection £55
The last product within my Gatineau Christmas Gift Guide is the super hydrating Aquamemory Replenish Collection which is housed within a white suedette bag. Inside the bag there are three skincare products as well as limited edition mask brush which is such a nice inclusion, and I’m going to use it for every single one of my face masks as it does a great job at evenly coating the skin. This set is £55 whilst the products inside are worth £138 and this collection is so perfect for dry and dehydrated skin. Containing the Gatineau Aquamemory Moisture Replenish Cream 50ml worth £48, the Gatineau Aquamemory Moisture Replenish Eye Roll On 15ml worth £38 and the Gatineau Aquamemory High Hydration Mask 75ml worth £40.
Gatineau Aquamemory Moisture Replenish Cream is especially designed for dehydrated skin, with a refreshing cream-gel formula that works to re-establish optimum hydration levels meaning skin is restored to its soft, supple and healthy self. Containing a nourishing and natural blend of Anti-oxidants and Marine Extracts which protect, repair and hydrate, and is suitable for all ages. Oh my gosh I love this moisturiser, it’s feels like a drink for the skin in a jar and it leaves my skin so hydrated and so soft and I already know I’d repurchase it as it’s my perfect moisturiser.
Gatineau Aquamemory Moisture Replenish Eye Roll On is rich in Anti-oxidants, this cooling formula revives and refreshes eyes whilst Marine Extracts intensely hydrate. With a lightweight formula that is effortlessly absorbed into skin allowing you to immediately apply make-up, and dark circles and puffiness are reduced leaving eyes looking bright and rested. The product has a really effective rollerball applicator which rolls nicely over the skin, and massages the product into the skin so you don’t have to massage the product in yourself. It feels so cooling and so relaxing, and it’s made such an improvement to the dryness of my eyelids in just a few uses – I’m so impressed.
Gatineau Aquamemory High Hydration Mask is the final product within my Gatineau Christmas gift guide and works well alongside the face mask brush included within the set. The mask has a salon-grade formula with exclusive Osmaporine Technology to bring immediate relief to dehydrated skin. The powerful mask is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and an Anti-oxidant Complex for long-lasting hydration and maximum protection against moisture loss. To apply you just use an even generous layer over the skin, and leave for 10-15 minutes, removing any excess with a damp cotton wool pad. I prefer to use the mask at night before bed so it can fully penetrate the skin, and it doesn’t transfer onto my pillow so I double cleanse in the morning to remove the residual product before beginning my morning skincare routine.
I really hope you enjoyed my Gatineau Christmas Gift Guide. There are some incredible offers to be had, and I’d love to know which is your favourite set?
