Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar
Everyone loved an advent calendar and the amount of beauty advent calendars this year is seriously overwhelming and quite a few have the same brands or products so it gets a little boring. When I saw the Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar I instantly loved it as it’s just so new and unique to anything else I’ve seen before and I’ve been a fan of Orelia for such a long time. I remember buying my first Orelia piece, a beautiful gold necklace which I spotted in Topshop years ago and the necklace still looks good as new so I knew their advent calendar would be amazing.
The Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar is like the name suggests, a twelve door advent calendar and it’s £60. For each of the twelve doors there’s an adorable turquoise blue drawstring suedette pouch containing your jewellery item which I love as the pouches are perfect for keeping your jewellery safe. Even though they’re just pouches, they’re very well made and I’ll definitely be reusing mine as they’re the perfect size for protecting your jewellery pieces. If you love gold toned jewellery, you need this advent calendar in your life and Orelia jewellery is so stunning and luxurious, so this would make for a wonderful gift. I loved photographing all of the jewellery pieces with my macro lens, so let’s get onto what’s inside the wonderful calendar…
The first item within the Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar is a gold plated Orelia necklace chain with the Orelia branded tag. This chain is the perfect gift for day one as the rest of the doors contain items which can be worn on the chain, or on another item which is hidden behind eight. The necklace chain has a link style and is 40cm in length with a 5cm extender.
The item behind door number two is a beautiful gold disc with little sparkly gems surrounding the outside. This is such a simple pendant but it looks beautiful on the necklace and it’s so shiny and easy to wear.
The next item within the Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar is one of my favourites and is a lightning bolt pendant. If you know Orelia jewellery, the lightning bolt features across their jewellery pieces and I just love it as it’s dainty whilst being a little edgy at the same time.
It’s a double item for door number four which can be used for two different uses. Orelia have included a pair of their bestselling gold plated Micro Hoop Earrings which are £10 to purchase alone so it’s fab they’ve included them within the calendar. The Micro Hoop Earrings are 9mm in diameter with a pale gold colour, and they’re perfect everyday earrings. However these gorgeous golden hoops can also be used as a carrier to attach to the necklace with a charm which is such a great idea and a fun way to wear the different charms within the calendar.
Next up within the Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar is a cute hexagonal charm which is slightly chunkier than the other charms and it looks so pretty when worn on the chain. I like that because of the chunkier design, it doesn’t lay flat against the skin and has more of a statement than the daintier charms.
The next item within the Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar is my favourite for sure as it’s so, so pretty. It’s a golden tusk with little sparkly stones around the top and the loop to attach it to a necklace or bracelet is slightly thicker too. It’s really weighty for a charm and I love it so much as it looks so lovely when worn on the chain.
For door number seven we have this amazingly intricate Hamsa hand charm, and the top half has a cut out effect which looks lovely against the skin. The Hamsa hand is an image recognised and used as a sign of protection in many times throughout history, and it’s such a pretty interpretation of the Hamsa hand.
Door number eight contains a pretty gold plated bracelet which you can use with the charms in addition to the necklace. The bracelet has the same shiny Orelia branded disc and the chain is 16cm long with a 3cm extender.
My other favourite piece within the Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar is the charm behind door number nine. It’s such a stunning, weighty evil eye pendant with a gorgeous crystal for the centre of the eye. Orelia have created various evil eye pieces but this is my favourite and my photo doesn’t do the crystal justice – it’s insanely sparkly.
Behind door number ten is this very simply yet chic golden dog tag design. It’s very dainty for a dog tag and the link is fine too so it looks very feminine, but it’s really different and the finish is very shiny.
Next up we have the prettiest angel wing pendant which features twelve super sparkly crystals. This pendant is my favourite for the bracelet but it looks equally pretty when worn on the chain, but I think it looks best when attached to one of the gold hoops on the necklace chain as it makes the angel wing pendant hang so nicely.
The final item within the Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar is a beautiful golden star charm which is so apt for day 12. I love stars and star based jewellery so I will be getting so much use out of this lovely little star. I like that it’s a little chunky and it looks amazing when on the necklace or the bracelet.
I never include stock or brand images within my posts but for the Orelia 12 Days of Christmas Jewellery Advent Calendar I really wanted to include this gorgeous image showing the different jewellery pieces on the chains and hoops. It also shows a really good representation of the size of each charm too. The calendar is amazing and I love every single piece, and that the contents are Christmassy so you can wear them all year round. Orelia jewellery is so beautifully made and I’m so happy with the quality of every single piece within this beautiful advent calendar.
I’d love to know what your favourite item within the calendar is?
