Zoeva All Night Long Eyeshadow Palette

Zoeva are known for their brilliant makeup brushes but I feel like their makeup doesn’t get the recognition it should. I’ve done over 20 Zoeva reviews on my blog over the last few years and I’m a big, big fan of their makeup brushes. In my opinion Zoeva brushes are better than MAC brushes and they’re more affordable with the choice of synthetic and natural bristles. I have five of the Zoeva Eyeshadow Palettes and I love them so I’m very happy to have one of their newest palettes in my collection; the Zoeva All Night Long Eyeshadow Palette which is available exclusively at Selfridges and the Zoeva website.

The Zoeva All Night Long Eyeshadow Palette is one of their larger palettes with fifteen powder eyeshadows. Zoeva also do ten pan palettes which are the version that they release most frequently but occasionally they launch a fifteen shade palette.

The Zoeva All Night Long Eyeshadow Palette is part of their All Night Long Collection which is inspired by Glam Rock, late nights and glittery lifestyles, and the collection also includes the five piece Zoeva All Night Long Brush Set too.

I feel like the matte black packaging makes a nice contrast against the gold foil detailing on the front and inside the palette. The palette includes six mattes, five shimmers, two metallic, one satin, one matte with glitter in large 1.5 gram pans which is so generous when you compare them to a full size MAC eyeshadow which is also 1.5 grams for £14 whilst this fifteen shade palette is £28.50.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the intensity of these eyeshadows?! I can’t believe how pigmented they are, especially the matte shades which perform as if they’re pressed pigments rather than eyeshadows as the colour is so intense. You will need to use a decent eyeshadow base for the second row in particular as they’re so pigmented they might cause a little staining but it’s nothing an oil based makeup remover can’t fix.

The first row has a couple of neutral tones and cool tones, and my favourite shade in the whole palette which has to be Vigorous Rocker. The middle row is packed with warm tones whilst the bottom row is a nice mix of tones. Normally shadows which contain glitter tend to be quite dry and dusty, and the glitter doesn’t actually show up when on the lids.

Zoeva however have nailed their glittery mate formula with the shade 15 Minutes of Fame as it’s packed with sliver glitter which doesn’t need to be applied with a wet brush to show up. The mix of finishes is just perfect and I like that you have lighter toned mattes for transition shades and some dark shades for adding depth to your makeup look.

I have been wearing Harmless Kitsch through my crease and my lower lashline, and then Vigorous Rocker on the lids for the perfect cool toned smokey eye in just two shades. I think the Zoeva All Night Long Eyeshadow Palette would be a great party palette for this festive season, and I am already eyeing up the Zoeva Eclectic Eyes, Spice of Life, Unique Reflection and Premiere Palettes too.

Have you ever tried any of the Zoeva eyeshadow palettes before?
