Emma Hardie Christmas Collection

I have a beauty confession to make. I have only ever tried one Emma Hardie skincare product and that was a teeny tiny sample of the iconic Moringa Cleansing Balm and I know I’ve been missing out as Emma Hardie is such a well loved skincare brand. The Emma Hardie Christmas Collection looked like the perfect opportunity to try more from the brand as gift sets are the best way to try new products as you tend to save money and they allow you to try more than one product at once. This year’s Emma Hardie Christmas Collection consists of seven gorgeous gifts ranging between £10 to £65.

When perusing the Emma Hardie Christmas Collection, the one set which appealed the most had to be the Glow On The Go Set £45. I have dry and dehydrated skin which often looks dull so I’m all about finding products that will help impart some glow into my complexion. This set is displayed within the prettiest silver gift box with the Emma Hardie’s exclusive Moringa Leaf design illustration. Inside the set there’s a full size of the Emma Hardie Plump & Glow Hydrating Facial Mist 90ml worth £42 and a sample size of the Emma Hardie Protect & Prime SPF 30 30ml worth £27.60.

The Plump & Go Hydrating Facial Mist is a moisture-packed, skin soothing facial mist to add hydration, luminosity and environmental protection to the skin. With an ultra-fine, lightweight formula contains soothing Aloe Vera, Velvet Flower to help soften, and Wild Watermint to tone and moisturise dehydrated skin whilst Hyaluronic Acid floods the skin with hydration and plumps fine lines. Emma Hardie’s Glycofilm technology is said to provide a ‘second skin’ to protect cells from the damaging effects of daily pollution and provides invisible colour correction to balance redness, leaving skin fresh and radiant.

The mist has a lovely herbal scent and needs shaking before use to mix the product for best results. I really enjoy using this mist as one of my last steps within my routine over the top of my serum and moisturiser, and do two pumps over my face and then use my hands to press the product into my skin. It honestly feels amazing and it’s such a quick step within my routine, but it instantly hydrates and leaves my skin looking plumped and fresh.

The Protect & Prime is a lightweight, hydrating and protecting daily moisturiser which smooths and primes the skin for a soft focus, luminous finish. Amazingly it contains a broad-spectrum sun protection SPF30, that gives the skin eight hours of daily protection against UVA and UVB damage. Specially formulated with Mongongo Oil, Oat Extract and Vitamin E to help protect and guard the skin from premature ageing, sun damage and environmental exposure. Doubled with a unique light diffusing formulation to help prime the skin, even out the complexion and blur the appearance of fine lines and pores. Although this is only a 30ml sample, it’s almost full size as the full size is 50ml and £46.

Technically this isn’t part of the Emma Hardie Christmas Collection but I wanted to include it anyway as I’m very happy to have the full size of the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm £47. I’m so surprised by how large the full size is, the tub is huge and the packaging is so sleek with a metal lid and a little spatula for you to scoop the balm out which is genius as you don’t have to put wet hands into the tub. Inside the box you get a super luxe ‘cleansing cloth’ but it’s definitely more of a flannel than the usual cleansing cloth brands tend to provide, it’s such a good quality cloth and it’s really soft on the skin.

A purifying botanical cleansing balm that removes all traces of face and eye make-up, deeply cleanses the pores, as well as balancing, hydrating and moisturising all skin types. With Moringa Seed Extract, Wild Sea Fennel and Vitamin E to balance, purify and minimise the appearance of open pores and essential oils of Orange, Neroli, Mandarin, Jasmine and Rose to rejuvenate and deeply condition the skin.

There’s a reason why the Moringa Cleansing Balm is such a cult bestseller. It’s extremely gentle on my sensitive skin, but it feels almost like a butter with a really soft formula which melts as you rub it between your hands before massaging it into dry skin. You only need a ‘hazelnut’ sized amount of the cleanser so this giant tub will last for ever especially as I prefer to use a bi-phase eye makeup remover so this cleanser is just used for breaking down my face makeup. It ticks all of the boxes and feels therapeutic to use, and I like how gently exfoliating the cleansing cloth is.

I’d love to know if you’ve got anything from the Emma Hardie Christmas Collection on your Christmas list this year?
