Food and Drink Christmas Gift Ideas

It’s a matter of weeks until Christmas and I have really enjoyed sharing Christmas gift ideas on my blog over the last few weeks. One of my favourite type of gifts to give are food and drink-based gifts as I feel like they’re always so well received, and you don’t have to necessarily know a lot about the person you’re gifting to. My ultimate favourite gift would have to be chocolate as it’s such a safe option as almost everyone loves chocolate, and there are always so many amazing chocolate gift ideas to choose from around Christmas.

If you are considering gifting chocolate, I’d recommend a box of chocolates as they tend to have a great selection of chocolates, so they’ll cater for all tastes and you can always find beautifully presented boxes for Christmas too. I really love the look of this stunning Thorntons Chocolate Indulgence Tasting Menu Box as it contains 90 milk, dark and white chocolates. The chocolates are inspired by travelling across Europe in search of rich and delicate taste experiences, and this would be the perfect gift for a special someone, a couple or even a family as there’s such a good variety of flavours to choose from.

I have featured a couple of alcohol related gifts this year on my blog, but you could consider perhaps an hamper as they’re very festive and who wouldn’t want to receive a Christmas hamper?! You can purchase a readymade hamper or if you want a more personalised gift, you could purchase a wicker hamper and then purchase food and drink items you know they’ll like. Hampers don’t have to be super expensive either and it’s always the thought that counts. If you don’t want to go down the hamper route, you could always purchase a bottle of their favourite tipple with a pretty bottle gift bag for a festive touch.

My last of my food and drink Christmas gift ideas would have to be biscuits. I always buy biscuits for at least one person each Christmas as they’re such a lovely gift, and even more so if you can get their favourite type of biscuits. There’s always a lot of different brands you can buy from and with different budgets too. You could always buy some during your next supermarket shop or opt for a specialist biscuit brand.

There are so many different food and drink Christmas gift ideas to choose from. I really hope you found my picks useful…
