Friction Free Shaving – Razor Subscription Service

There are so many different subscription services, but I’ve never seen a razor subscription service before especially not one designed for women. The Friction Free Shaving Razor Subscription Service have an amazing Christmas gift set for those that are difficult to buy for, and it’s such a genius idea with over 30,000 women subscribed for friction free shaving. The Friction Free Shaving service is £9 initially (and each month thereafter) which gives you the handle of your choice and four razor blades, but you can personalise your handle or add some of their products for an additional fee.

Friction Free Shaving are a subscription service where they deliver replacement heads every month, but when you first sign up you can choose the handle of your choice. They have two beautiful handles; Rose or Silvia which are rose gold or silver, and the Friction Free Shaving Gift Set £30 offers you the ability to add a personal engraving to the handle which is such a sweet touch.

When the set arrived through my post box, I was surprised by how big and well presented it was and the lid even has a section to put a ‘to’ and ‘from’ if you don’t fancy gift wrapping it. The gift box isn’t a subscription, but inside the box there is a discount code so the recipient can choose to subscribe at a reduced price.

I chose the rose gold handle as I love anything rose gold, but it really does look stunning which isn’t something I thought I’d ever say to describe a razor. The underside of the razor has a rubberised grip and the blades are easy to change with one single button, with an handy styling bikini blade built in.

Each of the Friction Free Shaving razor heads have 6 diamond-coated steel blades per head with a lubricating Vitamin E strip. The set includes a teal, material pouch to keep the handle safe as well as a little wall grip to hold the razor.

Inside the Friction Free Shaving Gift Set there are three products to use alongside the razor; the Friction Free Pre-Shave Scrub (with Manuka Honey, Almond Extract and Walnut Scrub), Friction Free Shave Cream (with Manuka Honey, Shea Butter and Coconut Oil)and Friction Free Post-Shave Balm (Manuka Honey, Almond Oil and Cooca Butter).

The products are all £6 to buy individually if you choose the £9 monthly plan which I think is a great price as they’re really lovely products, but I love that they’re included within the set as it gives you or your gift recipient everything they could need. The six blade razor heads give an extremely close shave with no irritation, and I feel like any woman would appreciate this service as a gift as it’s so functional but pretty glam for a razor gift set too.
