Jouer Making Magic Ultra Foil Eyeshadow Palette

When I spotted the Jouer Making Magic Ultra Foil Eyeshadow Palette on Instagram, it was love and first sight and I patiently waited for it to be stock before ordering it from Cult Beauty as I knew I needed it in my life.

I’ve only tried a few Jouer products thus far but I missed out on their Skinny Dip Foil Palette last Christmas and I’ve kicked myself ever since so I wasn’t going to let that happen a second time. However this is a sad post for me to write as it looks like it’s already selling out everywhere so you may not even be able to get it but it’s wowed me so much I had to feature it.

The Jouer Making Magic Ultra Foil Eyeshadow Palette is £40 and contains a twelve shade foil eyeshadow palette and a Jouer Eye Topper which is such amazing value when you consider the Stila glitters are £24 alone. The packaging is so, so pretty with a pastel pink palette with a raised glitter dragonfly on the top.

The palette and eye topper were held in a pastel pink flocked plastic tray and the whole set it beautifully packaged. I am obsessed with foil eyeshadows so a palette containing twelve couldn’t be more perfect for me and it’s even prettier than the photos I’d seen online.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the beauty of these eyeshadows?! Every single one is extremely buttery soft, smooth, multidimensional and they’re just out of this world. If you’re an eyeshadow addict like myself, you need this palette in your life if you can get your hands on it.

The pans are nicely sized and the shadows apply well both with an eyeshadow brush and your fingertips which I like as many foil shadows don’t work brilliantly with a brush but the texture of this formula is perfect.

All of these swatches are two swipes of my fingertip as I wanted to ensure I got a true representation of the sparkle, duochrome shifts and foil finish and as always no primer whatsoever. With primer they look even more incredible and I can’t believe for £40 you get this palette and the eye topper. It’s an exceptional deal and I totally understand why it’s selling out everywhere.

When purchasing the Jouer Making Magic Ultra Foil Eyeshadow Palette, I have to be honest I wasn’t at all bothered by the Eye Topper as it was the eyeshadow palette I wanted but it’s crazy Jouer chose to include it with the palette as it’s SO good.

The packaging is very similar to the Stila Glitter and Glow shadows, and the formula is almost identical. The Eye Topper is in the shade Constellation and the only difference between it and the Stila formula is that Constellation has a translucent black base whereas the Stila glitters have a more opaque shimmery base with glitter suspended within in.

This shade has a translucent black, matte base with silver and almost khaki coloured glitter particles in different shapes and sizes which is what makes it so sparkly. I wouldn’t ever wear it all over my lid on its own but with a fingertip pressing it over another eyeshadow it looks amazing and I’m crossing everything that there are more shades to come next year in this formula as I know they’d be very popular.

I am so happy I snapped the Jouer Making Magic Ultra Foil Eyeshadow Palette up as it’s easily one of the prettiest eyeshadow palettes I’ve ever used and I love it so much. I definitely want to try more from Jouer in 2019 as I’ve only really tried their Lip Cremes so far but I already have five of their products on my wishlist right now which I’ll definitely be purchasing in the new year as I’m so impressed with what I have tried.

Have you ever tried the Jouer eyeshadows before?
