The Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows were featured in my 2017 beauty favourites, and I’ve loved them all year this year too. When I spotted Stila had launched a couple of gift sets containing their Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows I knew I had to have one and I chose the Stila 3D Dazzle Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow Set as it contained two shades I didn’t already own, and one shade I already own but love. I did order mine from Cult Beauty but it looks like it’s sold out, but it’s still available on other sites and the shades inside can be purchased individually so I still wanted to blog about it.
“Add starry-eyed sparkle with this travel-size trio of long-wearing, lustrous shadows. The perfect mix of pearl and glitter adorns eyes with incredible sequin-like shine. Features two top selling shades plus a new limited edition, luxe, golden, duo-chrome shade.”
If you haven’t already tried the Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows, they truly are the best liquid glitter eyeshadows I’ve tried and although other brands have tried to copy the formula, nothing is as good as the Stila version. The full size tubes contain 4.5ml of product, and the three shades within the Stila 3D Dazzle Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow Set contain 2.25ml so you’re getting £36 worth of product for £29.
Although the value for money isn’t as amazing as other gift sets, the set gives you the chance to try three shades for a little bit more than the £24 price tag of a full size shade. I own quite a few shades now and I haven’t finished one so the mini sizes work perfectly for me.
I’ve included normal swatches and macro swatches of the shades within the Stila 3D Dazzle Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow Set so you can see how multidimensional they are, and the different colours of the glitter especially in Perlina. Stila describe Golden Girl as being a duochrome golden fawn, Perlina as being a duo-chrome opalescent white, bright blue, pink and purple pearl and Kitten Karma a champagne with silver and copper sparkle.
I feel like they describe the shades pretty well but Perlina has to be my standout shade as there are so many different colours which sparkle in different lights. It reminds me of the Pixi Crystalline shade but a lot more sparkly, more saturated and with a more opaque base shade.
I have already reviewed Kitten Karma here on my blog previously and it’s the kind of shade that goes with everything, but all three of these shades are super versatile and they look incredible on the eyes. I can’t wait to see the new shades Stila have lined up for the Spring collection.
Have you ever tried the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows?
