This is my favourite time of year in many ways, but definitely for candles. I’ve spoken of my love for candles many times on my blog, but there’s just something so therapeutic about burning a scented candle in the evening whilst relaxing, and I love to blog by candlelight too. There are so many amazing Christmas candles to choose from with beautiful festive scents from under £10 to over £50 so here are my personal recommendations for the top Christmas Candles for 2018. My favourite candle scents are anything spicy, sweet or food based rather than floral scents which is why I love Christmas candles so much.
Kicking off my top Christmas candles round up with my absolute favourite; The Luxe Candle Co Christmas Ginger Nuts Crackle Wick Candle which I blogged about recently. I’d never tried anything from The Luxe Candle Co before but this candle smells insane, and the packaging is so luxurious. They have four different Christmas scents and I want the other three as I love the Ginger Nuts scent so much, and the crackle wick is so different as it sounds like a crackling wood fire. Their candles make the perfect gift too as they come with velour drawstring pouches too.
My next recommendation is one of the candles from Royal Essence as they so many different scents to choose from, including some festive scents and every one of their candles contains a piece of jewellery for an extra special twist. This is their Cinnamon Doughnut Candle which really does smell delicious but I’m loving the look of their Eggnog Candle for a lovely festive scent with notes of creamy vanilla with hints of sugar, clove and rum.
NEOM are one of my favourite candle brands and their candles are very luxurious. Every year they release their festive candles and I adore their Christmas Wish candle which I featured on my blog last year as part of my Cult Beauty Christmas Gift Guide.
The Christmas Wish Scented Candle is said to be a comforting blend of 13 pure essential oils including; Mandarin, Cinnamon and Tonka bean, and it smells incredible. The designs of their candles change every year and I love their design last year with the foiled street design on the glass, but this year they have block coloured glass but the scents are the same so I’m very tempted to snap up a Christmas Wish candle before they run out like they do every year.
I don’t think a top Christmas candles roundup would be complete without mentioning the Yankee Candle offerings as they always have a fab range of festive candles, and at a more affordable price range.
Yankee Candle have a range of Christmas fragrances they bring back each year but they also add some extra scents each year too. This year has so many different scents available in wax tarts, tealights, votives and different sized jars. I haven’t tried any of their scents within their 2018 collection but I do really like their Christmas Cookie, Candy Cane Lane and Christmas Eve scents.
There are a few other candles I’m dying to try such as the Beauty Pie Ambre Santal Candle, ESPA Ginger and Pink Pepper Candle and the Noble Isle Fireside Glow Candle. I’d love to know what your favourite Christmas candle is?
