Cacharel Yes I Am Eau de Parfum

Cacharel are a French brand offering fashion, accessories and fragrances. The brand are known for their iconic Anaïs Anaïs fragrance which was created in 1973, and I have to be honest I haven’t tried any of their more modern scents as I felt like Cacharel were more of a traditional fragrance house. When the Cacharel Yes I Am Eau de Parfum dropped through my door, I didn’t even clock the brand before trying it as the packaging instantly won me over and it was only after spritzing the fragrance on my wrist, that I looked at the brand and name of the fragrance. I was completely bowled over when I saw the Cacharel branding as it smelt absolutely nothing like I’ve ever smelt from Cacharel before, and the bottle is just amazing.

Cacharel Yes I Am Eau de Parfum Review

The Cacharel Yes I Am Eau de Parfum is available from Superdrug in a £35 30ml and £60 50ml bottle, with a super sleek black and metallic silver box with red writing. The whole lipstick theme is a beauty lover’s dream, and I love that the ‘Yes I Am’ name’s font is as if it’s been written by a red lipstick which suits the packaging bottle perfectly. The bottle has a grey to black ombréd glass effect, with a textured bottle which looks like the casing of a lipstick.

The neck of the bottle is silver chrome, with a red lipstick bullet design with the atomiser. The slant of the lipstick is where your finger sits, and the fragrance dispenses from the other side and I adore the packaging so much.

It’s such a sleek design, and I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t want this gorgeous bottle on their vanity or dressing table. The red and black combination reminds me of the Cacharel Amor Amor Forbidden Kiss fragrance.

Cacharel Yes I Am Eau de Parfum Review

I feel like everyone has preconceived ideas about brands, and I know myself I never expected such a stunning, modern fragrance from Cacharel but I haven’t tried a Cacharel perfume in a good number of years.

The Cacharel Yes I Am Eau de Parfum has fruity top notes of zesty mandarin and sweet raspberry, an heart of white floral accords with ginger flower, jasmine and gardenia. Finishing with a spicy and creamy base of milk and sandalwood.

This is one of my favourite fragrance launches in a long time and I love how it caught me completely off guard. When I saw the bottle, I honestly thought it was perhaps a Dior or Paco Rabbane scent, but it smells incredible and it lasts on my skin for at least 24 hours which is so rare for a perfume.

If you love YSL Black Opium, I urge you to give Cacharel Yes I Am Eau de Parfum a spritz next time you’re near a Superdrug store as to me, it smells quite similar except Yes I Am is a little sweeter and a little fruitier due to the mandarin and raspberry and it works well for daily or evening wear.

I’d love to know if you’ve ever tried any of the Cacharel fragrances before? Do you love the Cacharel Yes I Am Eau de Parfum bottle design as much as I do?
