I raved about the Unicorn Cosmetics branding in my post on their stunning lashes, but the packaging of the Unicorn Cosmetics Class of 86 Eye Makeup Brush Set is so cute. If you’re new to Unicorn Cosmetics, they’re a cruelty free UK based beauty brand and their first range of products were lashes, but their product range has grown over the years thanks to their soaring popularity. I’ve heard so many amazing things about their makeup brushes but until trying the Unicorn Cosmetics Class of 86 Eye Makeup Brush Set £24.99, I hadn’t ever tried them for myself.
The Unicorn Cosmetics Class of 86 Eye Makeup Brush Set comes packaged within a purple zip up case just like a retro pencil case, which fits their ‘class of 86’ theme so well. The zip has the fluffiest, pink pom pom which is giving me serious Clueless vibes and I love it.
I think £24.99 is such a great price for a seven piece brush set with a case, even before trying them and the brushes are all vegan with synthetic bristles. I am using my case to keep my brushes in but you could totally use it as a makeup bag or a pencil case as it’s a really nice case.
The brushes within the Unicorn Cosmetics Class of 86 Eye Makeup Brush Set are as the name suggests; eye makeup brushes, with the brands trademark unicorn horn style brush handles. So many brands have tried to copy the unicorn horn design, but it was Unicorn Cosmetics which created the design first and in my opinion are the best version as they have a stunning pearlescent effect.
The twisted shape of the handles not only looks good, but they’re nice to hold too and the twist design gives a good level of grip. The ferrules are all silver with the Unicorn Cosmetics logo, but I’m in love with their rainbow effect bristles. The bristles are super soft with pink, green, purple, yellow and blue strands which really do look like they’ve come from a mane of a unicorn.

The set does come with a card inside the bag explaining how to use each brush, but the names on the card don’t match the names they have on the website so I can’t tell you the exact names of each brush but they’re pretty easy to tell apart.
They’re all very well made and don’t feel shiny like some synthetic brushes can, and I love them. You can’t help but smile when using the Unicorn Cosmetics brushes as they’re so beautifully made but they’re not extortionately priced either. I have a few more Unicorn brushes to show you in the coming weeks, but I’m a big big fan.
