I can’t enough of Huda Beauty right now, I’ve been loving her products ever since I discovered the Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette. This past year, I’ve loved everything I’ve tried such as the Easy Bake Loose Powder, the New Nude Eyeshadow Palette, the Rose Gold Remastered Eyeshadow Palette and the Lip Contour Lip Liners. I featured the Huda Beauty Lip Strobe Lip Gloss on my blog back in November and it was about time I dedicated a whole post to it as I’ve worn it pretty much non-stop ever since
The Huda Beauty Lip Strobe is the brand’s answer to lip glosses if their Liquid Matte formula isn’t for you, with twelve different shades to choose from at Cult Beauty.
“Ultimate add-on to your lip game, the HUDA BEAUTY Lip Strobe proposes a versatile combination of effects and applications. Offering a prismatic spectrum of sheer and full coverage colors, each one of them boasts its own pigment and pearl complex. Some are beautifully iridescent, infused with pearls, and others are packed with rich pigments or have subtle, glimmering glitters.
Incorporated into an adherent yet flexible dewy base, it gives lips a sculpted and volumized gleam visible from every angle. The non-sticky and cushion-like texture make wear more comfortable than ever while the precision, heart-shaped flock glides on generously for an even coat in one gesture.
Layer with your favorite Liquid Matte to create an infinite array of dazzling shades or let them shine alone and admire an intense color payoff. For the matte lip lovers, wear it Huda’s signature way and blot off the excess for a glistening shimmer without the gloss.“
I chose the Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in the shade Snobby as I loved the shade description on the Huda Beauty website; “a semi-sheer light pink base with pink and gold pearls”. I think the description describes Snobby very well and it’s the perfect lip gloss for every nude or light pink lipstick in my collection. The gloss is quite sheer initially in just one swipe, but the shimmer can be built up with an extra layer or two for the prettiest sea shell pink.
I do think the Lip Strobes are unique to the average lipgloss, as the Lip Strobe has a really thin formula packed with shimmer whilst being lightweight without any grittiness or texture. The gloss has a subtle fruity scent and the applicator is smaller than the typical doefoot applicator which does a good job at evenly coating the lips without smudging lipstick you may be wearing underneath.
The Huda Beauty Lip Strobe collection is available on Cult Beauty.
