The Look Incredible January Deluxe Beauty Box was one of the best boxes they ever did so this month’s box had a lot to live up to and I couldn’t wait to see what was inside. The Look Incredible February Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 is £35 and each month, Look Incredible spoil us with 4-5 full size products and never any sample sizes or sachets. One of the reasons I stopped featuring Glossybox and Birchbox on my blog, is their repeated brands, repeated products and sample sizes. In addition to the Deluxe box they also have the My Secret Box which is £65 and the Standard Box which is £25.
Cargo have featured a few times in past boxes, and the Look Incredible February Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 contains the Cargo Cosmetics Chill in the Six Eyeshadow Palette worth £29.99. The packaging has pretty holographic snowflakes on the outside which complement the cool tones of the shadows inside. I’ve never seen this palette featured anywhere but it’s a beauty.
I much prefer cool tones over warm tones so this palette is just perfection, and it comes with a decent quality dual ended eyeshadow brush. I’ve been so impressed with the Cargo eyeshadows I’ve tried so I can’t wait to get swatching this palette, and it’s crazy that this palette is £30 so we’re essentially getting the other three products for just £5! Some of the Cargo palettes contain an eyeliner pencil but I believe European editions don’t, but that doesn’t bother me as I rarely use eyeliners included inside a palette
The next product within the Look Incredible February Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 is the Benefit They’re Real! Beyond Sexy Lipstick & Liner In One worth £17 in the shade Flame Game. When Benefit launched these, I really wasn’t taken by them as I felt like they were a massive gimmick and you only get 1.5 grams of product for £17. However I’m very happy it’s include within the box and it’s not a product I’d purchase myself, but it gives me a chance to try the lipstick so I can see what I think.
If you’re unsure what these lipsticks are, they’re twist up lipstick bullets which feature two colours which supposedly work to fill in the lips and a darker part of the lipstick is to work like a lip liner. I’m not entirely sure if I’m onboard with the two tone lipstick look but I’ll definitely give this a try, and you could always use a lip brush to apply the lipstick should you not want to do the two lipstick look.
The next item we have is from Lancome, and it’s a mascara which is one of my favourite kind of products to receive in a beauty box as I use mascara every single day, and love trying new ones. It’s the Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara worth £24.50, and it’s not a mascara I’ve tried.
I’ve tried the Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara and a couple of their Hypnose Mascaras so I can’t wait to try this as it’s a lengthening mascara offering separation, and it has a nice natural bristled ‘hedgehog’ designed wand. The shade is 02 Deep Back and is a super intense, matte black and the formula has bio-selective polymers that cling to the lashes through electrical attraction.
The last product within the Look Incredible February Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 has to be the standout product this month in my opinion, and I can’t believe it’s included within this month’s lineup. It’s the Becca Opal Glow on the Go Collection worth £20, and it contains a deluxe miniature size of the Becca Opal Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed as well as the Becca Opal Shimmering Skin Perfctor Spotlights.
It’s amazing that this set offers both the pressed and liquid version of their iconic Opal highlighters. Becca do the best highlighters, and their Pearl Highlighter is one of my all time favourite highlighters. The sizes are generous for being mini too, the pressed highlighter is 2.4 grams whilst the liquid version contains 5ml and Becca do the most blinding highlighters so I imagine these will last for a seriously long time.
The February box is now sold out, but you can now pre-order the March edition right here. I’d love to know which product is your favourite in this month’s amazing box?
