Clarins is a brand I’ve dabbled in over the years, with their skincare, bodycare and makeup products. I feel like it’s one of the most traditional beauty brands where they focus on quality products without causing drama on social media. I often feel like they’re perhaps overlooked as brand but they’ve recently launched a whole new collection which is aimed at the millennial market and I really like the whole concept behind the new collection. My Clarins has the tagline “Goodness In. Nasties Out” which will definitely appeal to those that are trying to be more mindful about the ingredients they’re putting onto their skin, and the new collection has just recently launched within the UK on their website.
The usual demographic of the Clarins customer is 30 plus, however the new My Clarins collection is targeted towards those aged between 18 and 29 and perhaps wish to start a skincare regime but don’t know where to begin. The new My Clarins collection is vegan friendly with their products also having 88% of their ingredients of a natural origin (except their PORE-LESS and CLEAR-OUT targeted treatments).
The plant based Healthy Skin [In & Out] Complex claims to help the skin soak in the goodies and draw out the baddies, for fresh and beautiful skin. The products are free from parabens, sulphates and phtalates and the packaging for the collection uses recycled materials which is even better.
The My Clarins skincare collection currently includes nine core products priced between £15 and £24, and the products are broken down into sub collections making it even easier to decide which products you need and at which point within your skincare routine.
For each of the products, Clarins describes which skin type the product is best suited for, the texture of the product and at which point within your routine should the product be used. In addition, Clarins also detailed the ingredients and they each improve the skin, then the proven results via their consumer tests as well as a brief how to, showing you how to use them.
My Clarins Collection contains:

The My Clarins skincare collection is broken down into four simple steps: Remove Makeup, Prepare, Hydrate and Boost, and finally Hydrate and Unwind. I really like how simplified the whole My Clarins collection is, as you don’t need to have any prior skincare knowledge and you know you’re using products which are going to be kind to the skin without any hidden nasties.
The products aren’t over complicated and the prices are reasonable too, especially if it’s a starter skincare range. I’m looking forward to seeing where the My Clarins collection will go, and I’m particularly interested in trying the RE-BOOST Refreshing Hydrating Cream, the RE-FRESH Hydrating Beauty Mist and RE-CHARGE Relaxing Sleek Meek.
I’d love to know your thoughts on the new My Clarins collection?
