I have no idea how we’re in the middle of March already, it’s crazy how fast 2019 is going, and would a beauty box post be complete without the clichéd ‘wow this year is going fast’ start?! I think not. March is always an odd month in terms of beauty, as February was all about the Valentine’s Day launches and brands are now focusing their attention on their spring collections but the weather, for the UK at least is pretty miserable so it’s hard to get in the mood for spring. One of the reasons I rate the Look Incredible boxes so highly, is that they don’t do ‘theme’ boxes. Every month you’re guaranteed full size products from well known brands, and the value of the contents always considerably surpasses the price of the box with no sample or travel sizes ever included. The Look Incredible March Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 £35 is here, and I have the contents to show you so keep on reading..
If you saw my Look Incredible February Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 post, you’ll perhaps have seen we were treated to the Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara, and for the Look Incredible March Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 edit, we have another eye makeup treat from Lancome. This time it’s the Lancome Artliner Gentle Felt Tip Liner in the shade Chocolate 22 which is worth £23.50.
I don’t know if the colours of the liners differ from box to box, but chocolate is a deep, dark matte brown. Described as having a longwearing formula that defines the eyes, with a precise and easy application. The liner has a really flexible nib which I like, and I can’t wait to fully try it out.
The next product within the Look Incredible March Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 box is the Gucci Luxurious Moisture Rich Lipstick worth £29, and I believe the shades do differ from box to box for this product and the shade I got was 250 Dark Romance. The lipstick is enriched with a distinctive blend of oils, the formula glides on effortlessly to moisturise the lips, and is specially designed to give incredible coverage in a single swipe, the sculpted sharp-edged form allows for a precise application.
The formula sounds really impressive with more than 65% emollients and oils, which use the body’s natural heat to melt onto lips, and the lipstick is scented with their signature gourmand “Blue Chocolate” fragrance. This shade is a very, dark berry and reminds me of a vampier version of MAC Rebel.
I’m always excited whenever Look Incredible include Too Faced or Tarte products, and this month we have Too Faced. It’s the Too Faced Unicorn Tears Holographic Bronzer worth £25 which is a limited edition product which launched as part of the Too Faced Spring collection last year.
The compact is so, so pretty as is the design of the powder itself as the pan has a bronze shade as the base shade, and then a sparkly unicorn towards the bottom half of the pan. I’m sure you could use each shade individually, or together but this is such a beautifully designed bronzer and it has the delicious chocolate scent Too Faced like to use for their powders.
The fourth and final product within the Look Incredible March Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 is from a brand I’ve never tried before. It’s the Black Up Contouring Stick worth £31 in the shade Cont 00. The stick is dual ended with a contouring cream, and a cream for creating ‘light’ both of which are completely shimmer free. It claims to blend seamlessly into the skin whether applied with your fingers, a sponge or brush.
Black Up’s brand tagline is “makeup expert for tan to dark skintones” and they are the first French upscale beauty brand dedicated to women of color. Sadly this shade (which is the lightest they do), won’t work for me as the highlighter shade would actually work as a contour on my pale complexion but I’m sure it’d work very well for those with tan to dark skin, and I really like the super sleek packaging.
I’d love to know which product is your favourite from the Look Incredible March Deluxe Beauty Box 2019?
