Do you like a bold blush or a subtle blush?! If you like a bold powder blush, you really need to try the MUA Blushed Matte Blushers which I featured recently as they’re impressively pigmented and only £2.50 each. If like me you prefer a more muted blush, the MUA Blushed Duos are the perfect alternative and again they’re only £2.50 and available in five different shades.
“Add a soft pop of colour to cheeks with this powder blush duo. Containing complimentary shades that can be worn alone or applied together for a bespoke shade.“
The MUA Blushed Duos are squared compacts with a clear plastic lid and they each contain 7.5g of product. The blush’s pan features a raised almost pyramid design and they look really well designed considering how affordable they are.
I really like the idea of these blushes as they contain two different blush shades which complement eachother so you can wear them both at the same time by swirling your brush together or choose one of the two shades to use individually. I have two of the shades on offer; Spice and also Pepper but all five duos look very pretty and wearable.
The MUA Blushed Duos in Spice contain two matte shades whilst the Pepper duo contains one matte shade and one shimmer shade. I like the idea of having two complementary shades in both matte and shimmer finishes as you can use them to add colour and glow to the cheeks. Spice contains a beautiful pastel pale pink and peach both of which are matte.
Spice is my perfect blush duo for my skintone as it adds colour but never looks like I’ve gone overboard and they’re so easy to blend. Pepper contains a pinky peach shimmer shade and a matte medium pink which are more intense than Spice but you can still create a more subtle and muted look depending on how much you apply.
The formula of the MUA Blushed Duos are easily one of the best drugstore blush formulas I’ve tried and it’s crazy that they’re only £2.50 as they last all day without fading too.
I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of the MUA Blushed Duos yet?
