MUA recently launched a range of base products including concealers, powders and primers. I purchased a couple of the powders and a primer, but I knew I needed to try the concealer as I’d had a couple of DM’s telling me how pale the lightest shade was. The MUA Pro Base Full Coverage Concealer is available in a total of nine shades and it’s only £2.50 for 7.8ml of product.
“This Lightweight concealer offers buildable coverage for imperfections with a smooth flawless finish. The creamy texture is crease-proof and long wearing.“
The MUA Pro Base Full Coverage Concealer has a doefoot applicator, and the palest shade is #110. I ordered it online so I had no idea if it’d match me but I couldn’t believe how pale it was when it arrived, and I thought they’d sent me the wrong product as it didn’t look like a concealer.
The #110 shade is pretty much a straight up white with a subtle warm undertone which is too pale for my skin, which is totally unheard of but I think this was perhaps supposed to be used as a concealer mixer to lighten other concealers as it’s so pale.
The concealer claims to have full coverage but I don’t find it to have any coverage which is so strange as it blends out to nothing, which cements my idea that it was supposed to work as a lightening concealer similarly to the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer in C0.
I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this particular shade if you were looking for a concealer with full coverage as it’s so, so sheer but if you’d like something to help lighten other concealers it might work for you, and £2.50 is a pretty good price.
I’d love to know if you’ve tried anything from the MUA Pro Base range?
