I’ve had the pleasure of featuring a few different Adexe watches on my blog over the last six months, so I was delighted to be offered the newest addition to their collection; the Adexe Mini Sistine Watch as well as being offered a second watch to giveaway to one lucky follower. Adexe have a beautiful range of watches for both women and men, and a great choice of leather and metallic straps depending on what you prefer. Many of their watches come with a second strap such as the Adexe Foreseer Grande Watch.
The Adexe Mini Sistine Watch is the brand’s daintiest offering yet, with the smallest dial they’ve ever done and is £89 which is a great price compared to some of their larger watch styles. The Adexe Mini Sistine Watch is available with either a leather strap or a mesh strap, with different colour dials for both.
I decided upon one of the mesh straps as I’m loving the whole mesh strap trend but they really do have a lot of choice for a brand new style launch. If you want the leather strap, you can choose their Snow White watch which has a white Italian leather strap and rose gold hardware, but they also do a mock crock leather strap style with silver hardware in Red, Spring Green, Ocean Blue and Brown.
“Sistine, the most famous chapel in the world, located in the Vatican city. The timepiece is inspired by the planning of the city featuring the domed chapel at the backend and supporting the front yard.“
The Adexe Mini Sistine Watch comes with a pretty, dainty jewel on the top of the crown which is tapered, similar to the Sistine Chapel and it’s such a pretty touch. I love that it’s different coloured on the different watch styles, and mine is a black crystal to complement the colour of my dial.
I decided upto the silver hardware with a mesh strap, and a black dial as I’m all about that monochrome life. I just love how black and silver go together, especially with the black crystal. The mesh strap comes in two pieces within the Adexe gift box alongside a little tool for attaching the strap. On the Adexe website it says “All watches come with a pair of pre-set extra straps in black or brown colour.
However, you are more than welcome to tell us your colour preference and we will try our best to provide you with what you wish instead”, however there is no extra strap with the Adexe Mini Sistine Watch so keep that in mind when purchasing to avoid disappointment. If you love a more dainty watch, the Mini Sistine is an ideal style as the dial is only 30mm, and the band width is only 12mm so it would suit those with perhaps more petite wrists, that often feel dwarfed by larger watch dials.
The black dial features white Roman numeral hour markings with silver minute markings, and I like that the glass of the watch is quite flat which I always prefer, as domed watches aren’t for me. I think it’s a really pretty, feminine style and I can imagine it being a popular launch for Adexe, and I hope they decide to launch a larger version as I think that would also go down very well.
