Lime Crime Wet Cherry Lip Gloss

Lip gloss is my thing and whilst I’m fully aware that lip glosses aren’t for everyone, I’m very happy that lip glosses have become a lot more popular over the last twelve months. When it comes to lip gloss, I want it to be relatively sheer but buildable, comfortable on the lips and not gloopy so I couldn’t wait to try one of the new Lime Crime Wet Cherry Lip Glosses. I’m already a fan of the Lime Crime Plushies, but their product range was in dire need of a collection of lip glosses, and the Wet Cherry range couldn’t be more perfect for lip gloss lovers.

Lime Crime Wet Cherry Lip Gloss in Naked Cherry Review and Swatches

Get the dripping wet reflection of a maraschino cherry in a gloss. Its next-level shine feels lightweight and comfortable on your lips.

Translucent pigments let your lips’ natural beauty shine through in 2 finishes:
– Juicy Sheer with a translucent burst of color in nudes, reds, berries and peaches
– Sparkly Sheer packed with iridescent pearls that light up lips

Wet Cherry Lip Gloss makes sticky, heavy formulas seem stuck in the past! Sweetly scented with a cherry on top. Cute chubby tube with over-sized doe-foot applicator lets you load on shine.

What It Does: Smooths on an ultra-glossy sheen that feels delightfully comfortable on your lips.

What It Won’t Do: Bleed, crease or feel tacky.

TIPS:  Apply on bare lips or layer over any Lime Crime lipstick for a wet reflective effect. Feelin juicy yet?

I found it really hard to choose which shade of Lime Crime Wet Cherry Lip Gloss £16 I wanted to buy as every single shade is super pretty, except perhaps the newest shades which are actually neon shades as I’m definitely not brave enough to sport a neon lip gloss. After checking swatches online, I decided upon Naked Cherry which Lime Crime call a ‘nude blush’ as I thought it was the kind of shade I’d get the most use out of.

The packaging is really sleek with a clear plastic tube, pink coloured lid and red metallic font and cherry detail on the top of the lid. The applicator is an huge doefoot applicator and it does a great job at applying an even layer of gloss, and it doesn’t move any lipstick you may be wearing underneath.

The gloss smells out of this world and to me it smells like cherry drops sweets, and there’s a subtle taste too which is even better. It has my perfect kind of formula when a light layer is sheer, but a couple of extra swipes and it’s almost opaque without being overly sticky or gloopy and it lasts for around 2-3 hours too which I find to be decent for an high shine lip gloss.

It looks so, so pretty on the lips with a glass like shine which lasts. Until now the Buxom Lip Polishes are my favourite lip gloss formula, but I think the Lime Crime Wet Cherry Lip Gloss has overtaken and taken my top spot as I can’t fault the formula at all. I just can’t decide which shade I need next….
