Phoera Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows

I have featured quite a few budget brands which are available from AliExpress on my blog such as Heng Fang Focallure and iMagic. There are a lot of fake makeup products on AliExpress and eBay but I always stick to registered brands which aren’t marketing their products as reputable products as I’m not interested in trying fake makeup as it’s too risky. I’ve had a really good experience with Heng Fang, Focallure and iMagic as they’re registered brands with their own websites and they list the ingredients in their products. I spotted the Phoera Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows on AliExpress and decided to give them a try as I have enjoyed using glitter liquid eyeshadow recently and they are only £1.64 each with free UK shipping.

The Phoera Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows are available in sixteen shades and I bought mine from the official Phoera store as I felt like it was the best place to buy them. When they arrived I didn’t expect the product to have a literally identical name to the Stila glitters which doesn’t sit right with me.

The product packaging, shade colours and shade names aren’t anything like Stilas as they have a pretty holographic star design on their clear tubes. I do really like the design of the packaging and think they look really sleek considering how affordable they are.

I bought five of the sixteen shades of the Phoera Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows and I have to admit, they’re a lot nicer than I thought they would be. As with any eye product I tested on the back of my hand before applying to the eyes as a sort of patch test but I didn’t have any issues when applying to my hand or my eyes.

From what I can see, Phoera don’t actually have their own website away from AliExpress, Amazon and eBay like the other brands do and they don’t have an ingredients listing either. Because of that I can’t recommend these eyeshadows because I think it’s safer to buy from a registered company but they are pretty.

Rose Gold – a shimmery rose gold base with silver glitter.

Cream – a yellow gold shimmer with silver glitter.

Forest – a khaki green shimmer base with gold glitter.

Trust Fund – a dark chocolate brown shimmer base with gold glitter.

Pinch Me – a warm bronze base with rose gold sparkle – very patchy and uneven.

I think they’re really pretty for £1.64 each but they do flake and fade quite quickly on the eyes. If you want to try a budget friendly glitter liquid eyeshadow I’d recommend the Focallure or Heng Fang versions more than these but if you are tempted to try these, they’re better applied in two or three light layers otherwise they do flake off.

I don’t think the formula or packaging is trying to copy Stila and the shades aren’t similar to any of the Stila eyeshadows so I don’t think they’re fake but you can never be 100% sure when buying from AliExpress so I’d recommend using official stores where possible.

I’d love to know if you’ve ever tried anything from Phoera before?
