I’ve used Revlon mascaras for as long as I can remember and I was gutted when they discontinued every single one of their mascaras back in 2016. Revlon discontinued their whole mascara range in order to launch a brand new range of mascaras and I’ve tried a few of the different versions but I’ve not found one I absolutely love. I’ve tried the Revlon Mega Multiplier, the Super Length Mascara and their Ultimate All in One Mascara.
As I hadn’t loved their newer range of mascaras, I was really happy to discover they’d launched a brand new mascara that was different to their main mascara collection, and I couldn’t wait to give it a go. The Revlon Volumazing Mascara has completely different packaging to their main mascara range which all have black tubes, with different colour lids but the Revlon Volumazing Mascara has a pretty purple and lilac tube and I love it so much. It stands out so much more than the average black mascara tube in your makeup bag.

The Revlon Volumazing Mascara £8.99 has a relatively narrow, natural bristled brush which does look a little spikey with the bristles in different directions. Revlon recommend wiggling the wand through the lashes for maximum volume and drama, and can be used upto three coats. I like that the mascara’s bristles aren’t super long as you don’t end up coating your eyelids in product during application, and they work really well for my pathetically stubby lashes.
It definitely delivers on volume, and although the wands aren’t similar, the effect the Revlon Volumazing Mascara gives is quite similar to the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, and it’s well worth a try if you like your mascara to give you volumised, super black lashes without flaking or smudging.
