If you love glycolic infused skincare products, you’re going to love the new Caudalie VinoPerfect Dark Spot Correcting Glycolic Night Cream £34. I personally love anything with glycolic acid as it makes such a massive difference to the texture and clarity of my skin, so this night cream sounded like a perfect addition to my night time skincare routine. The Caudalie VinoPerfect collection is one of the brand’s bestselling ranges, with their VinoPerfect Radiance Serum being the top bestselling anti dark spot product within French pharmacies since 2008 – wow.
“The Vinoperfect brightening night cream acts as a gentle overnight peel to reveal luminous skin upon awakening. Night after night, dark spots are visibly reduced and skin tone is evened.
Visible results after the first night! The fresh and subtle fragrance combines notes of bergamot, sweet orange, mandarin and citrus tree bark.“

The packaging of this cream is simply stunning with a weighty, frosted glass jar and silver metallic lid. It looks like such a luxurious product, so I was really surprised it was £34 as it looked as if it would be more, price wise.
The Caudalie VinoPerfect Dark Spot Correcting Glycolic Night Cream is targeted towards the correction of dark spots, which isn’t something I suffer with personally but it offers multiple benefits to the skin which is what appealed so much. The results from the clinical studies Caudalie did, 90% of women found that their dark spots were corrected and 96% found that their complexion was more radiant.
I am here for anything that will impart moisture into my dry/dehydrated skin, and products that contain shea butter tend to work really well for my skin so I thought shea butter and glycolic acid would be a winning combination to hopefully add nourishment, whilst also refining the surface of the skin.
One of the reasons, Caudalie are such a popular French pharmacy skincare brand, is their very high percentage of ingredients from natural origin with no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, mineral oils or animal-derived ingredients are used in any of their products.
The Caudalie VinoPerfect Dark Spot Correcting Glycolic Night Cream has a slightly thick, gel-cream consistency with a subtle fruity scent which I think maybe down to the papaya extract.
It is quite rich and you can feel it on the surface of the skin when first applied, which is something I actually appreciate with a night cream as it feels as if it’s actually going to do something whilst you sleep. In the morning there’s never any residue on the skin, so it does fully absorb overnight but your skin feels amazing every single morning.
Generally speaking, with a moisturiser you either opt for an hydrating and super nourishing cream, or one rich in enzymes and acids to refine the skin, and it’s hard to find one which combines the two.
However Caudalie have done exactly that with their new night cream. It makes my skin hydrated but it also minimised any textural issues I’d been having, and overall it really is a fantastic night cream.
I’d love to know if you’ve ever tried anything from the Caudalie VinoPerfect collection before?
