Five New Beauty Launches Under £5 #3
I didn’t end up posting an April edition of my five new beauty launches under £5 series during April as I really wasn’t enamoured by any of the new launches. Nothing really caught my eye or stood out and I didn’t want to post for the sake of it, so I thought I’d wait until May to see if there were some more exciting launches and I’m really pleased I did as there are so many exciting launches right now.
I could have easily done a ten or fifteen new launches post, but I need to keep it precise so these five new launches are the ones I’m personally most excited about.
Collection Glam Crystals Metallic Liquid Eyeliners £3.99
The Collection Glam Crystals Liners are such an iconic product, and one I’ve used them since my teens and it’s always puzzled me why they haven’t extended such a popular line. I can’t help buy feel Collection are a little behind the times compared to the likes of other drugstore brands.
These new eyeliners are metallic shimmer rather than glitter, with an “intense iridescent pearl finish”. There are four shades to choose from, and I’m waiting to see some swatches online before deciding if they’re something I’d want.
MUA x GLOW Roll On Shimmer £3
MUA have just launched a brand new collection this summer focusing all about the glow which couldn’t be more perfect for the warmer months. I’ve got a few products coming up to show you, but I love the look of these roll on shimmers so I had to include them within my five new beauty launches picks.
Roll on shimmer is such a 90’s throwback but I love the look of these, the three shades are beautiful. I remember the roll on shimmers creasing terribly on the eyes, so I’m hoping these perform better.
Barry M Fortune Teller Top Coat £2.99
Barry M are my one of favourite nail polish brands alongside Essence, so this new sparkly top coat may have already made its way into an online order. I always love sparkly top coats as they’re ideal for layering over 2-3 day old polish which might be showing signs of wear, as they help to hide any imperfections whilst adding a pretty sparkly finish.
This is just one shade from what I can gather, but it’s the kind of shade you could layer over absolutely any nail polish colour and I love that Barry M haven’t upped the price from £2.99 on their standard formulas even after all these years.
Nivea Body Mousse Raspberry and White Tea £3.99
The Nivea Body Mousse range isn’t necessarily a new product, as they were available on Amazon but now you can find them in Boots and Superdrug. The name kinda tells you everything you need to know – it’s a lotion in a mousse format which you can massage into the skin for a boost of hydration.
This raspberry and white tea scent sounds divine, and whilst I’ve only tried the Rhubarb and Raspberry scent, I think I’d like this one next especially in time for summer but they also have the original Nivea scent too.
Body Fantasies Body Mists £4.99
The last product within my five new beauty launches selection are the new scents within the Body Fantasies range. There are a lot more scents in the US, but more scents are coming across to the UK and I have my eye on the Coconut Fantasy scent in particular.
I love anything coconut scented, so this is right up my street. They’re only £4.99 each but they give over 500 sprays per bottle which is amazing for the price and they even have a 29ml travel version of a couple scents too.
I’d love to know your thoughts on these new launches?
