I Heart Revolution Radiance Glow Hearts Highlighter

I Heart Revolution recently added three new shades to their range of Triple Baked Highlighters, and seeing how much I love their Goddess of Love Highlighters I knew I wanted to try them. From the three new shades; Lightening, Radiance and Hidden, I bought the two palest shades – Lightening and Radiance and in all honesty I hated Lightening so I didn’t have high hopes for Radiance. The heart shaped highlighters/blushes/bronzers used to be £4.99 each, but they’ve since increased to £6 and you’d expect an improvement in the formula to warrant an increase but I’m sad to say I really don’t like these new highlighters, but read on to see swatches of the I Heart Revolution Radiance Glow Hearts Highlighter.

This 3D heart-shaped highlighter is the ultimate glow-giver! Triple baked with a peachy, pink glow and white shimmer. Sweep over the cheekbones and under the brow bone for a beautifully radiant finish. Radiance is part of our iconic 3D heart-shaped collection.

The I Heart Revolution Radiance Glow Hearts Highlighter is described as being a peachy pink highlighter which I think is pretty spot on, although the glitter isn’t mentioned in the description and I would never have bought it had I known how glittery it was. Lightening was also very glittery, but Radiance is pure peach glitter which I hope you can see in the swatch above.

What I loved about the Blushing Hearts and Goddess of Love Highlighters is how finely milled they were, and how pretty they were on the skin but these new Glow Hearts are so dry and dusty, and the formula couldn’t be more different from the original shades yet the price has increased. I’m always very honest in my reviews, and it does get me removed from PR lists but my integrity is very important to me.

I think these new Glow Hearts are awful. The packaging is very pretty but for £6 the formula is simply awful, especially compared to their other triple baked formula I don’t know why both Radiance and Lightening are so, so different.

I always try and make every review I do as balanced as possible but I just can’t. Both Lightening and Radiance disappointed me so much I have thrown them both away as they’re not at all pleasant to use and they look horrible on the face. I am beyond gutted that Revolution have chosen to change their amazing formula, and I would highly recommend swatching these instore prior to purchase so you don’t waste £12 like myself if you too dislike the formula and abundance of chunky glitter.

I’d love to know if you’ve tried the I Heart Revolution Glow Hearts?
