Soap and Glory Super Nude Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick

I used to be a really big fan of the Soap and Glory Super FabuLipsticks so I was gutted when they discontinued them, but Soap and Glory replaced their whole lipstick collection with the Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick range. The Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick range consists of three sub ranges; Reds Collection, Nudes Collection and the Pinks Collection. I am a nude lip lover through and through so of course the Nudes Collection appealed to me, and I bought the Soap and Glory Super Nude shade. Within each of the three sub ranges, there are different finishes too with ‘Glass-Coat Shine‘, ‘Powder-Coat Matte‘ and ‘Silk-Coat Satin‘ which does sound a little complicated than the average lipstick range but if you know you like matte lipsticks, you’ll be able to find matte shades within the red, nudes and pinks collections.

How many times can you say “Super colour fabulipsticks” without your lipstick wearing off? Well, if you’re wearing one of Soap & Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker™ moisture-rich lipsticks, the answer is very many tongue-twisting times indeed.

For a super-soft pout slick on Soap & Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker™ lipstick – available in no fewer than 24 scrumptious shades.

Choose from three finishes: Powder-coat™ Matte, Silk-coat™ Satin and Glass-coat™ High Shine.

Creamy, conditioning and ultra-smooth – with hydra-boosting Moisture-rap™ technology – they glide easily onto your lips and stay firmly in place as you go a-pout your day.

Although I don’t generally love a matte finish for my lipstick, I decided upon the Soap and Glory Super Nude Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick as I loved the shade and I found the discontinued Soap and Glory matte formula to be really comfortable so I had high hopes for the newer formula.

There are eight shades within each of the three shade ranges, and the packaging is colour coded to match the shade range, so Super Nude has a nude metallic metal casing, the reds have red casing and the pinks have, yep you guessed it.. pink casing. They do feel pretty luxe considering they’re £9, and I like that they’ve kept the S&G engraving within the bullet like their previous lipstick range.

The Soap and Glory Super Nude Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick is a gorgeous peachy pink nude, and for a matte lipstick it has an amazingly smooth and creamy formula which doesn’t drag or tug the lips.

The formula doesn’t feel any different to their discontinued Powder-Coat Matte formula in their Fabulipstick range which pleases me greatly as it was such a nice, comfortable and easy to wear formula.

Some matte lipsticks need you to scrub your lips to within an inch of their life, just to be able to wear them but I’ve find the Soap and Glory Super Nude Lipstick to be rather forgiving and I don’t have to do any prep beforehand.

On the Boots website there’s a photo showing each of the shades on the lips, but Super Nude looks nothing like the lipstick swatch as it’s much paler and pinker, but I love it.

All of the nude shades are quite light in tone so I’m not sure how they’d work on deeper skintones, but it would be great if Soap and Glory chose to introduce some new shades as the whole range of 24 shades hasn’t been extended since the launch in 2016.

I think £9 is quite high for a drugstore lipstick, but it’s still £7.50 cheaper than MAC lipsticks yet the formula is absolutely on par and if anything, I actually prefer the packaging of the Soap and Glory lipsticks.

Have you tried any of the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipsticks?
