Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss

Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss

It’s crazy how popular the Sweet Peach range has been for Too Faced, and it all snowballed after the launch of their Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette. I love everything I’ve tried from the Sweet Peach collection and I like that they’re continuously extending the Sweet Peach range.

I haven’t tried any of the lip products from the range, so I chose the Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss as part of my ultimate makeup bag edit.

Lip glosses are my favourite lip product to wear and I’ve got a lot of Too Faced lip glosses in my collection such as the Melted Latex glosses, Juicy Fruits glosses and Lip Injections, so I was pretty confident I’d love the glosses from the Sweet Peach collection.

The Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss is available in eight shades, is £16 and available from Cult Beauty. I chose the shade Papa Don’t Peach and it’s just the perfect peachy nude shade for my skintone.

Too Faced always do cute packaging regardless of the product, but the packaging for these glosses really are lovely with colour coded lids, clear tubes and a smiley peach, puffed sticker on the top of the lid. The applicator is a doefoot which gives an even layer of colour on the lips.

For a lip gloss, the formula is more pigmented than I expected it to be as shown above in the swatches. Due to the inclusion of ‘oil’ within the name, I assumed they’d be more like the Clarins Lip Oils which are sheer and glossy with very little colour.

Instead the Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss is a pigmented gloss that can be sheered by dabbing it onto the lips, but this particular shade is almost opaque on lighter coloured lips like mine.

The smell is incredible and smells identical to a sliced peach rather than a synthetic scent and it feels so comforting on the lips. I don’t find the formula to be as hydrating as a straight up lip oil, but the colour, comfort, scent and beautiful shine makes me want to choose this gloss over any lip oil in my collection.

I think £16 is a really fair price for a gloss that not only looks good, but it feels good too especially when lip oils from Darphin, Clarins, YSL and Lancome are £20+ and I would love the other seven shades in the range.

Have you tried any of the Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss shades?
