Caudalie Vinosource SOS Creme Hydration Intense Moisturising Cream

My skin is annoyingly dry so I’m automatically drawn to skincare products that will intensely moisturise my super dry skin so the new Caudalie Vinosource SOS Creme Hydration Intense Moisturising Cream instantly caught my attention. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from the Caudalie Vinosource range so I was pretty confident that I’d love this new moisturiser, especially as it’s suitable for sensitive skin.

Caudalie Vinosource SOS Creme Hydration Intense Moisturising Cream

  • This rich cream is as gentle as it is natural, soothing even the most sensitive and dry skin to restore moisture and suppleness.

  • Redness and tightness disappear leaving an immediate sensation of comfort.

  • This highly sensorial, intense boost of moisture replenishes and plumps the skin daily or can be used as a S.O.S treatment to repair damage caused by external stresses.

  • Its fresh and subtle, plant-based fragrance, combines green notes of bergamot, mandarin, lemon tree leaves, cucumber and fresh mint.

Caudalie Vinosource SOS Creme Hydration Intense Moisturising Cream

The Caudalie Vinosource SOS Creme Hydration Intense Moisturising Cream is suitable for those with normal to dry skin, can be used as your day or night moisturiser and 97% ingredients of natural origin, whilst being PEG and silicone free. Many more intensive moisturisers contain silicones which I personally don’t like as I don’t like how they leave almost a film over the skin.

I know packaging isn’t as important as the ingredients inside a skincare product, but Caudalie always have such beautiful packaging for their skincare. This moisturiser is packaged within a weighty, frosted dark pink glass jar and it really stands out amongst all of the white jars and tubes that most skincare brands tend to have.

Caudalie Vinosource SOS Creme Hydration Intense Moisturising Cream

The Caudalie Vinosource SOS Creme Hydration Intense Moisturising Cream has a rich, thick consistency and a lovely fruity scent. The consistency reminds me of the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Moisturiser, except this Caudalie offering is quicker to absorb into the skin and I feel like the hydration benefits can still be felt upto 12 hours later. Whenever I apply this cream at night, my skin still feels extremely hydrated and plump in the morning.

Due to how intensively hydrating this cream is, I feel as if it could be a little too rich for those with normal skin, but it works a treat on my dry and dehydrated skin, and I’ve enjoyed using a slightly thicker layer before bed when my skin’s particularly dry as an hydrating sleep mask.

Sometimes the more intense moisturisers are best kept for your evening skincare routine as they’re too rich for applying under your makeup, however that’s not the case at all with the Vinosource SOS Intense Moisturising Cream. It somehow offers the perfect amount of hydration for my super dry skin, without effecting my makeup when applied over the top. I’ve been using it both night and day during the warmer weather we’d been experiencing recently (before all of this rain) and it’s just perfect, and like the claims it really is highly sensorial and a pleasure to use.

You can purchase this new moisturiser directly from Caudalie on their UK website for £25 for 50ml.
