I’m really sorry there hasn’t been any new posts in a long time (thank you so much to the brands that have been understanding). My mum very sadly died just over a week ago after fighting Multiple Myeloma for fourteen years and whilst I’m not yet in a place where I can be blogging daily, I still wanted to showcase the Look Incredible August Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 on my blog. My Look Incredible posts are always my most popular blog posts each month, and I didn’t want anyone to miss out on the box this month as it’s such an epic box. Look Incredible have introduced a ‘brand of the month’ theme for their boxes and so far we’ve seen Charlotte Tilbury and NARS, and this month we have Becca which is so exciting.
The Look Incredible August Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 is £35 and contains four fantastic makeup and skincare products. You’ll never find samples or travel sizes in their boxes which is why they’re so superior to any other beauty box brand, and they don’t just give all makeup or all skincare like some boxes do so it’s the perfect balance in my opinion especially as their boxes are usually more makeup based.
Seeing as Becca are the August Brand of the Month, I knew I’d love whatever the product was as Becca are such a fantastic brand. The product included within this month’s box is the Becca Ombre Rouge Eye Palette worth £30 which is crazy when the box is £35, making it £5 for the other three products. I already own the Becca Ombre Nude Eye Palette and love the quality so I know I’m going to love this one. The palette contains five powder eyeshadows in pretty neutral shades, and the packaging is beautiful.
There’s one skincare product this month from Dr Botanicals which is a brand that gets featured quite heavily in beauty boxes but I can’t recall ever trying this particular product. It’s the Dr Botanicals Tumeric Treatment Mask 50ml £44 which is worth more than the box alone.
Tumeric is somewhat of a buzz ingredient right now and I’ve liked other face masks I’ve tried containing tumeric so I have high hopes for this treatment mask if the description is anything to go by. It is enriched with antioxidant rich turmeric and deeply moisturising shea butter to nourish, soften and renew your complexion while you rest overnight.
Next up we have the Tarte Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner worth £21 and is a product I’ve wanted to try for quite a while now. It’s so genius as it’s double ended with two different types of eyeliners in one. On one end there’s an Amazonian clay infused gel pencil liner and the opposite end has a slick liquid eyeliner pen so you can line your up and lower lashlines with one pen. I love that we can use this liner alongside the eyeshadow palette within the box for a full eye makeup look.
The fourth and final product within the Look Incredible August Deluxe Beauty Box 2019 is the Too Faced Melted Latex Lipstick worth £19. I already own a couple of the Latex glosses in the shades Love U Mean It and Hot Mess, and they have such a lovely formula so I’m happy to have another shade to try. If you like super shiny glosses, you’ll really love this formula and it lasts well on the lips too without being too sticky. I have the shade Peekaboo which is my ultimate nude shade in that it’s not too beige, nor too pink and offers full opacity in one single swipe of the doefoot applicator and the Melted Latex Lipsticks smell incredible too.
