Smashbox Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Foundation

I’ve really enjoyed my new beauty launches series this year, and whilst I’ve not been posting on my blog, there have been so many new and exciting launches. I have so many on a list on my phone that I’ll be featuring very soon, and today’s new launch is from Smashbox. I featured the Smashbox Crystalized Collection back in March and as it went down so well, I thought I’d include their newest foundation; the Smashbox Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Foundation.

Smashbox Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Foundation

A comfortable, 24-hour full coverage foundation that weightlessly glides over skin. It controls oil & shine & has a blurring effect. It’s also waterproof, sweat & humidity-resistant, won’t look cakey or cause acne.

• 24 hour full coverage with a matte finish
• Weightless, comfortable feel that’s non-settling & non-creasing
• Oil & shine control with kaolin clay & bamboo powder
• Waterproof; sweat & humidity-resistant
• Smooths skin with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E & light scattering spheres
• For all skin types & non-acnegenic
• Cruelty free

I’ve only ever tried one of the Smashbox foundations and the new Smashbox Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Foundation caught my eye with the claims of non-creasing, non-settling and it having a weightless finish. I’m definitely going through a lighter foundation moment right now.

I just can’t stand foundations that you can ‘feel’ on the skin so I think this would be ideal for my skin, especially as it contains hyaluronic acid. It does claim to have a matte finish, but when paired with a super hydrating formula like the Hourglass Primer Serum, I’ve been able to use matte foundations no problem so I think the Hourglass primer would work really well with this foundation.

The Smashbox Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Foundation is £29.50 and contains 30ml of product. There are 40 different shades to choose from, which are divided into warm, cool and neutral tones. From looking at the different shades, I think the 0.1 ‘very fair with neutral undertone’ shade would be the best match for very pale skin.

There isn’t a cool shade within the ‘very fair’ collection of shades. However the Smashbox website does have photos of the foundation on a model for every single shade complete with a before and after which is so handy for trying to decide which shade is best.

You can purchase the new foundation from the Smashbox website directly with free UK delivery.
