Temple Spa Easy On The Eye Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover & Soothing Eye Solution

I have really enjoyed getting to know the Temple Spa brand over the last year or so. The Temple Spa Easy On The Eye Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover & Soothing Eye Solution is one of the brand’s newest launches and is a reformulation of their popular Temple Spa Go Easy Makeup Remover. I haven’t tried the Go Easy formula so I had nothing to compare to, but I’ve been trialling the new Temple Spa Easy On The Eye 150ml £16 over the last couple of months.

This gentle yet effective, fragrance-free formulation is clever with a dual purpose; it removes eye and brow make-up (even waterproof) and also refreshes tired, gritty eyes.

Mediterranean botanical extracts of camelia tea, cornflower, eyebright and melissa combine with aloe gel in this super lightweight liquid to ensure your eyes are fresh, revitalised & soothed and your eye make-up completely gone.”

The Temple Spa Easy On The Eye Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover is said to be suitable for both men and women, of all skin types – including sensitive skin. It has a dual-use formula in that it can be used to remove eye makeup, but also can be used as a soothing lotion for the eyes.

It’s also suitable for those that wear contact lenses, or hayfever sufferers. I have sensitive skin and dry eyes so the idea of a soothing lotion really appealed to me, especially as Temple Spa recommended keeping it in the fridge for an even greater soothing effect. It has been so heavenly to use over the summer, particularly with the hot temperatures we’ve been experiencing.

It’s so simple to use too as you just use the pump to dispense onto cotton pads, and press them against your eyes for a few seconds to break down the makeup and then gently sweep in a downwards motion first and then again from the outer eye in.

To use the Temple Spa Easy On The Eye as a soothing lotion, you apply dampened cotton pads to the eyes and lay the cotton over each eye for 10 seconds for instant refreshments but upto five minutes for a reviving treatment.

Whenever I try a new eye makeup remover, there’s one mascara I try them with as it’s the hardest to remove mascara I’ve tried and that’s Benefit They’re Real!. It’s such a good mascara but gosh it’s a nightmare when you want to remove it. The formula of Easy on the Eye is just perfect as it’s highly effective at breaking down the eye makeup but it’s extremely gentle too.

Usually with eye makeup removers, they’re pretty potent if you want an highly effective formula which can leave your eyes stinging and looking a little red. There’s even a little video on the Temple Spa website which shows the remover in use and you can see for yourself with no editing, how quickly it removed the lady’s makeup with no irritation, and no panda eye smudges at all either.

Even though it’s a brand new product, it’s already been a finalist in the Pure Beauty Global Awards 2019 and I imagine it’ll win awards in the not too distant future as it’s such a brilliant makeup remover.

My favourite eye makeup remover has been the Lancome Bi-Facil for around ten years now, but I’m surprised to say I think Temple Spa Easy On The Eye Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover & Soothing Eye Solution is better and it’s only £16.00 whilst the Lancome version is £23 – amazing.

You can purchase the Easy on the Eye Makeup Remover from the Temple Spa website.
