L’Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer in Porcelain 320 Review / Swatches

Whenever there’s a mass of hype surrounding a product, I can rarely resist trying the product for myself. The L’Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer £9.99 has been insanely hyped up ever since it launched back in January but I didn’t purchase it as soon as it launched as I have never managed to find a L’Oreal shade in their various concealers that matched me.

There were so many comparisons that the L’Oreal Infallible Concealer was a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape, which made me even more eager to try it. Especially when reading a review of the lightest shade, I noticed that it was actually very pale so I placed an order and crossed everything that it would match me.

L'Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer in Porcelain 320 Review / Swatches

The L’Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer is £9.99 and available in a total of 25 shades from Superdrug and Boots. The lightest shade is Porcelain 320, and the concealer contains 10ml. This is such a generous amount of product for a concealer, and to put it into perspective, the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer contains 3.4ml and is £4.

Revolution make out that they’re an affordable brand, but you’d need three of the Revolution concealers to get the same amount as the L’Oreal concealer, and it’d cost £12 if you bought Revolution’s concealer and £9.99 if you bought L’Oreal so it’s a false economy and that’s how misleading Revolution are with offering smaller amounts of product which tricks you into thinking you’re getting a great deal.

L'Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer in Porcelain 320 Review / Swatches

The L’Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer has a large doefoot applicator which is very similar to the Tarte Concealer. It’s not just packaging that’s similar either, the formulas are very very similar so if you haven’t tried the Tarte concealer, this is a fab alternative. This concealer is one of the most pigmented concealers I’ve ever tried, and I hope you can see in the swatches above, the concealer has managed to cover freckles and pores on the skin on the back of my hand.

Porcelain 320 is a spot on shade match for my skintone, and you can’t see any marks where the concealer stops and starts which goes to show how well it’s blended into the skin. L’Oreal categorise their concealers, and this concealer is defined as being matte, with upto 24 hour weartime, full coverage and medium texture – all of which I’d agree with, although it’s not too matte which pleases me greatly with my dry skin.

If you have been unsure whether you should try this super hyped concealer or not, I cannot recommend it enough and it works well as a foundation when blended with a dampened beauty sponge. I would 100% repurchase this concealer, and it’s so worth the hype.

You can purchase the L’Oreal Infallible More Than Concealer over on Superdrug’s website.
