Mavala 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar 2019 Contents Reveal!

Now we’re officially in October, prepare yourself for masses of advent calendars to launch. This year has been insane so far for the amount of advent calendars, with many brands offering multiple advent calendars. One of the newest to launch comes from Nail brand Mavala, and the design is identical to their past advent calendars – even in terms of the colour of the packaging. However the contents are a little different, and the Mavala 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar 2019 is currently available from Feelunique for £45 whilst the contents inside are said to be worth £76.

Mavala are a Swiss nailcare brand offering both nail care products, nail tools and nail colours. One of my favourite Mavala products is the Mavala Nail Polish Thinner which in my opinion is a product everyone needs to own, as it can be used in absolutely any nailcare product or nail polish to rejuvenate the formula and bring polishes back to life again once they’ve become a little gloopy. Gloopy polishes are notoriously difficult to apply but the thinner helps to thin the formula so it becomes easier to apply, and it only takes a couple of drops. I’ve had my nail thinner for around three years now and I still have around half a bottle left. I’ve only ever tried a few of the Mavala nail colours, so this calendar would be ideal for me.

It’s a little strange that Mavala have used the same turquoise and pink colour scheme and design for their advent calendar as it means people that have bought it previously would perhaps not purchase a future version incase they thought it was the same product they purchased previously. The calendar has a cute drawer design, with a pink bow on the top. It isn’t at all festive but the drawers are seriously pretty, and very much the kind of design I’d reuse once Advent was over.
