Morning Glamour Satin Pillowcase

I’d been curious about the benefits of using silk and satin pillowcases for a couple of years, and I tried a silk pillowcase for the first time back in January. I really do love the silk pillowcase, however the full £90 price is seriously pricey so I wanted to try a satin pillowcase to see how it would compare to the silk. The Morning Glamour Satin Pillowcase is available in many different designs and colours, and I have the Floral design which has a cream coloured base with tiny pink and turquoise flowers all over it. It’s very feminine and pretty, but if it’s a little too floral for your liking, there’s some lovely other designs like leopard print, polkadot, zebra print, marble print and solid colours too.

I really like how gentle a satin pillowcase is on my very fine hair, and it definitely does help to reduce the frizz in the mornings. If I straighten my hair, I always have to re-straighten big sections of my hair the next morning as sleeping leaves kinks and waves in my hair, but that’s not the case with the Morning Glamour Satin Pillowcase. I like that I don’t wake up with sleep wrinkles on my face either, as it usually takes a while for them to fade and it just feels so much more comfortable than a standard cotton pillowcase.

The only thing I don’t like is the packaging, as I feel like it looks a little cheap and my box has split all over in transit so feel like the packaging could be upgraded a little to look a little more modern, and be more robust. However I like that the packaging has a little hole on the front so you can feel the pillowcase if you saw it instore.
