Ole Henriksen Glow Boosters

Ole Henriksen Glow Boosters

Danish brand Ole Henriksen used to be available within the UK a couple of years ago, and everyone raved about their products so it was a bit of a shock when they pulled out of the UK completely. I don’t know the reason why they did pull out of the UK and EU, but the big news is that they’re back and they’re now being stocked in Boots which is very exciting. To celebrate their UK relaunch, I was kindly gifted three miniature Ole Henriksen Glow Boosters which can be used together within your skincare routine, and whilst I can’t review them as they’re mini sizes, I wanted to share more information on them.

Ole Henriksen Transform Plus Phat Glow Facial (full size £42)

Get flawless skin in a flash with PHAs, the no-downtime exfoliating acid and key ingredient in Ole’s first one-step at-home facial. What makes PHAs so special? They’re fat, literally. Like AHAs, PHAs deliver skin-perfecting, age-fighting results, but PHAs are just a little “plumper.”

They’re a bigger molecule, so they don’t go as deep as they loosen up the “glue” that binds the surface layer of skin together, and reveal the newer, fresher skin underneath. That means less irritation and recovery time for everyone—even sensitive types.

Whether your plans involve a red carpet and limo or red wine and the couch, this innovative at-home facial is the ultimate “get ready with me” prep step. The massage-activated formula creates a perfecting cocoon, then instantly reveals smoother, illuminated, no-filter-necessary skin.”

The Phat Glow Facial is applied in an even layer to clean, dry skin, and then massaged until it transforms from a pink colour to white. Once the colour has transformed, you need to leave it on the skin for 15 minutes and then remove with a damp wet cloth. The mask smells just like Vimto and feels a little tingly when first applied to the skin. This mask has 1300+ reviews and almost all of them are ‘glowing’ so it’s easy to see why it’s got cult status.

Ole Henriksen Transform Glow2Oh Dark Spot Toner (full size £22)

Seeing dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles and uneven texture? Spent too much time in tanning beds or baking under the sun? It’s time to atone for your skin sins.

This potent brightening toner, supercharged with a high concentration of AHAs (glycolic and lactic acids) and witch hazel water, reduces the look of dark spots in as little as 7 days. It also targets fine lines and wrinkles, and smoothes texture. But this powerhouse AHA toner has a soft side, too. Infused with sandalwood, chamomile and licorice extracts, it’s gentle enough for daily use.

Tone post-cleansing for a skin-smoothing boost, and you’ll be perfectly prepped for serum and moisturizer. Plus, with its addictive lemon sugar scent and “it’s working!” tingle, you’ll be hooked from the very first swipe. Reveal a transformed, refined and youthful-looking Ole Glow“.

The Glow2Oh Dark Spot Toner is a nightly toner that you apply to dry skin in circular motions. It has a subtle fruity scent and feels super gentle on the skin. I don’t have many issues with dark spots so I don’t think my skin is what this toner is designed to treat. It still leaves my skin feeling really refreshed and whilst it’s only a tiny sample, I have enjoyed what I have tried.
