Dove Coconut Oil Shower and Shave Mousse

I love a good luxurious bath and body product but I always come back to Dove as I really like their products. I love their original Deeply Nourishing Body Wash when my skin’s feeling particularly dry as it’s so nourishing on the skin, but when I spotted the Dove Coconut Oil Shower and Shave Mousse I instantly added it to my basket as it sounded so lovely. There are four different shower mousses to choose from; Coconut Oil, Argan Oil, Acai Oil and Cotton Oil. They are £3.99 each however Superdrug have had them on a two for £4 deal for a few weeks which means you get a second bottle for just a penny!

Dove Coconut Oil Shower and Shave Mousse

I tried the Dove Shower Oil as I heard so many people say it was a dupe for the L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil, but I didn’t think it was that great so I wasn’t sure if I’d like the Dove Coconut Oil Shower and Shave Mousse as I do like their original non-fancy shower cream. I did like that the different shower mousses have scratch and sniff stickers on the lids, so if you are instore you can give them a sniff before purchase to see if you like them. More brands should do this as you can try a mousse-like product instore and you don’t want to get it home and discover you hate the scent.

Dove Coconut Oil Shower and Shave Mousse

The Dove Coconut Oil Shower and Shave Mousse dispenses by pressing down on the top of the bottle, and the mousse is a thick and dense foam that’s easy to evenly spread over the skin. Dove used to a shower foam that came in a pump bottle but when you pumped the bottle, the foam was really diluted and it didn’t go very far.

The Shower and Shave Mousse is the complete opposite and is heavily fragranced which I absolutely love. The coconut oil scent is delicious and it lingers on the skin nearly all day which is crazy for a £4 product. It does an amazing job for shaving too as it spreads so well over the skin, and it helps the razor to glide too especially when shaving your legs.

For under £4 it’s the best shower mousse I’ve tried..
