Go2 Natural Essential Oils Inhaler Sticks

With December finally being here, it means Christmas is just weeks away which I know for me, is a particularly stressful time. This year has been so difficult for me for many reasons, and I quite frankly can’t wait for 2019 to be over. When I was asked if I’d like to try the Go2 Natural Essential Oils Inhaler Sticks, I did think they initially sounded a little random but after looking into the brand and the sticks themselves I thought I had to give them a try. I religiously use a lavender based pillow spray such as the This Works Deep Sleep, Temple Spa Sleep Solutions Pillow Spray or the Therapie Slumber Pillow Spray every single night before bed and it has genuinely made such a massive difference to my relaxation before bed so the idea of handy, portable inhaler sticks really appealed.

The benefits of essential oils have been known for 6000 years, but with today’s scientific advancements, those benefits are now proven. There are essentially three ways to benefit from essential oils; topically through your skin, internally through your digestive system (both of which need to follow strict guidelines) or aromatically, which is how a GO2 stick works.

When inhaling a GO2 blend, odour molecules are released. The olfactory receptors in our nose are activated and send electrical signals to the higher regions in our brain, the neocortex and limbic system. The limbic system then sends messages to the hypothalamus, the area of the brain which through the pituitary gland sends messages to other parts of the body. Different odour molecules will result in different messages being sent. The GO2 essential oil blends are uniquely formulated to maximise the response for each described mood.

There are four different varieties of the Natural Essential Oils Inhaler Sticks and they’re £3.99 each. The four different varieties are; Energy Stick, Focus Stick, B. Calm Stick and Sleep Stick, and I have all four. I really like that they’re different colours, so if you do own multiple sticks you should be able to easily tell them apart. Each stick comes in a cardboard box, which explains the different essential oils inside, and how each oil benefits you as well as the directions.

The directions are super easy, you simply unscrew the cap and place the stick under each nostril whilst holding the opposite nostril closed, inhaling slowly and deeply. You can use them as often as needed and it’s important to ensure the lids are always screwed tightly to keep the oils and fresh inside.

I first tried the Go2 Sleep Stick and I was really surprised by how strongly scented it was. Usually essential oil mood enhancer products tend to be quite weak in scent, but these inhalers are very strong which is great because they obviously contains an high percentage of the essential oils. However they’re perhaps not something I’d want to use on say a bus or train as those around you would be able to smell them. But on the flipside, the scents of all four inhalers are very pleasant so it’s not as if they smell bad, I’m just always wary about annoying other passengers with strongly scented products.

My favourite two essential oil inhalers are the Sleep Stick and the Focus Stick in terms of scent, and Energy is my least favourite as I’m not the biggest fan of lemongrass but I still use it as they really are effective. I’ve found the Focus and Energy Sticks to be particularly effective when writing blog posts. I’m so easily distracted and I have to be ‘in the zone’ to be productive, so they’ve really helped me feel more motivated and focused. The Sleep and B. Calm Sticks are both handy whenever I’m feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed and I can’t believe they’re only £3.99 each and I like that they have a video on each Stick’s page to explain the benefits a little better.
