Lee Stafford Shampoo Massage Brush and Smooth & Polish Paddle Brush

Lee Stafford Shampoo Massage Brush and Smooth & Polish Paddle Brush

Lee Stafford are my absolute favourite drugstore haircare brand, and I’ve been a fan of their products ever since they first launched in 2001. The Lee Stafford Poker Straight hair protection spray is the best hair protection spray I’ve ever tried from any brand, and at any price point so it’s crazy that I’ve never tried any of the Lee Stafford hairbrush range before. Lee Stafford have just recently relaunched their hairbrush collection, with the aim to offer every brush or comb you’ll ever need. There are nine different styling tools in the collection available from Boots, and I have two; the Lee Stafford Shampoo Massage Brush and the Lee Stafford Smooth & Polish Paddle Brush.

Lee Stafford Shampoo Massage Brush £5.99

The Lee Stafford Shampoo Massage Brush is perfect for cleansing and exfoliating, helping to maintain a healthy scalp and fabulous looking hair. Pair it with your favourite Lee Stafford shampoo for that extra foaminess! With an ergonomically designed handle making it easy to grip when wet, massage with the soft silicone tips to lift away dead skin and stimulate your scalp!

I have been on the hunt for a decent massage brush for ages now. I bought one from eBay for about £2 but it was so firm that it was actually painful to use, so I’m very happy Lee Stafford have created an affordable massage brush within their brush collection. I know that massaging the scalp is said to help hair growth as it promotes circulation to the hair follicles, but it can be very beneficial to those who suffer from scalp conditions such as dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis which I have.

I really like the size of this brush, as it fits in the palm, and it has a really fab handle on the back which you put between your fingers to massage the scalp. The Lee Stafford Shampoo Massage Brush feels insanely good, and the silicone tips are firm enough that they give a decent massage, but they’re not uncomfortable or sharp like other massage brushes I’ve tried.

Lee Stafford Smooth & Polish Paddle Brush £10.99

“Your perfect every day hairbrush to gently detangle and combat frizz, leaving you with soft and silky hair!

The Lee Stafford Smooth & Polish Paddle Brush is a must-have for making the most of your hair, every day. Whether you want silky soft hair or to just detangle and combat frizz this paddle brush with soft touch grip is the perfect go to tool. With flexible nylon pins that can be used on wet or dry hair, the soft cushion adapts to the shape of your head to ensure a comfortable styling experience!”

Paddle brushes are my favourite kind of hair brush. I like barrel brushes, and round brushes but paddle brushes are the best in my opinion especially if you have super frizzy hair like mine. This brush has a rubberised coating which makes the handle easy to grip, with a really large paddle size. I like that because the paddle is so large, it can practically brush half of my head in one stroke.

It does a brilliant job at detangling my hair, but it’s star quality is frizz control. As much as I love my Wet Brush, it doesn’t help frizz but the Smooth & Polish Paddle Brush does, and I haven’t picked up my Wet Brush once since the Lee Stafford Smooth & Polish Paddle Brush came into my life.

You can find the Lee Stafford hairbrush collection at Boots.
